Upside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AMMD 09/23 Test 50 16.09 -1.22 18.14 21.65 964K 1.2M 16.87
Buy Not Hit. Huge selling Friday with the market past key support from the 90 day SMA on average trade so dropped it as only looks to hammer lower from here.

BBBB 09/18 Cup hdl 37.31 -1.55 40.48 50.45 500K 550K 38.91
Buy Not Issued. Sold off the 90 day SMA as resistance that it needed to recover and hold as key support against this market selling. Couldn't make the move so got rid of it.

BRKL 10/02 DB hdl 10.96 -1.00 12.77 15.65 361K 1M 11.88
Buy Not Issued. Dropped this one Friday as it sold hard through the rough session Friday. Cleared the 50 day EMA as support to get the axe, but will watch it as it nears key support from the 50 day SMA and mid September lows.

BWLD 10/01 Test BO 35.81 -1.78 39.22 46.38 577K 950K 36.47
Buy Not Hit. Fell through the 50 day EMA but on continued light trade. Giving it early next week to recover.

CFR 10/02 Cup 56.29 -1.93 61.87 69.95 517K 1M 55.44
Entered today. Picked up a small position early to see if financials would hold on; this was our guinea pig for the day. It turned back down on us obviously after the vote. Still in the pattern but has to hold at the 50 day EMA.

CHTT 09/15 DB hdl 75.73 +0.93 76.11 86.45 325K 450K 78.21
Current. This is a personal products stock so even in a recession it tends to perform decently. It is hanging on right now in its trend. For now that is all you can ask of it.

CME 10/01 Trnd Rv 362.30 -11.37 400.31 448.00 1.2M 1.8M 391.88
Buy Not Issued. Sold through the session to the key 50 day EMA as support and now has to hold support after breaking the 90 day SMA on the way down here late this week.

CNMD 09/20 Asc Bse 30.05 -0.16 30.33 33.00 200K 400K 29.35
Buy Not Issued. Flipped this to a rolling stock on Thursday with the support in the range at 30 and the top at 33ish. Just trying to play a quick roll as that is what the market is giving right now.

DUG 09/30 Rolling 45.16 +0.19 40.65 44.88 21M 25M 43.21
Current. Sold back to the 18 day EMA and tapped the moving average as support for a nice intraday test just under 40.0. On average trade now and closed with a short step higher so DUG still in solid shape here in early October.

GENZ 09/27 Dbl btm 76.77 -1.33 81.57 91.95 3.1M 4.5M 77.88
Buy Not Issued. Dropped GENZ Friday with its above average volume collapse through the session. Will watch it though after it broke key support from the 50 day EMA as it has the 90 day SMA just under 76.0.

GLD 09/27 DB hdl 82.59 +0.26 88.56 99.75 24M 24M 87.48
Current. Bounced a bit Friday. Just under resistance from the 50 day SMA now though and on rising above average trade so will need it to push through resistance next week.

HCBK 09/11 Cup hdl 18.45 +0.23 19.38 22.95 6.9M 14M 18.91
Current. Stepped laterally with a doji along the 50 day EMA. On rising below average volume and holding key support very nicely so not too concerned on this one as it ignores the market selling for now.

JPM 09/29 Dbl btm 45.90 -3.95 44.55 51.88 69M 80M 45.91
Current. Some of the banks sold after good moves as the short sale ban expires next Thursday. It will likely be re-upped as the bailout bill did nothing to help the market so we are looking at buying more JPM.

LHCG 10/02 DB hdl 29.00 -1.15 30.69 36.95 323K 400K 28.54
Buy Not Hit. Gave back the Thursday gains to come back to support from the 18 day EMA. On above average volume still and need to see LHCG hit the brakes at support.

MCD 09/16 Asc Bse 60.23 -1.65 62.04 72.95 11M 13M 59.77
Buy Not Issued. Rough downsides through Friday on above average trade for MCD. Back below the 90 day SMA and at key support from the September lows so looking to see MCD hold here.

MTH 09/25 Test 18 21.00 -2.65 25.68 30.95 1.3M 1.5M 24.08
Buy Not Issued. Was sorry to see this break lower as the homebuilders were a leading group, or at least setting up to breakout. Bear market takes down another sector. Not good and no choice but to drop this one Friday.

MVL 09/20 Rolling 30.72 -1.84 31.11 35.95 1.3M 1.4M 29.91
Buy Not Issued. Might, just might get a roll back up from here and adjusted the price accordingly. Hit support from the key 200 day SMA so critical for MVL to hold the line.

PETS 09/18 Test 18 14.30 -0.44 16.08 19.68 184K 450K 15.08
Current. Light volume above the 90 day SMA after a short step lower Friday. Looking for a bounce and some new positions off this test through early October.

PHHM 09/30 DB hdl 9.72 -0.02 10.55 13.75 124K 250K 9.81
Buy Not Hit. Doji step laterally along the 18 day EMA. On just below average volume and just resting at support for now at the moving average and mid August highs.

RIG 09/24 Trnd Rv 94.65 -1.53 126.94 137.95 7.7M 9M 124.77
Exited. Rallied but started to reverse so took it off the table as it looks to head even lower into next week on this above average volume.

SF 09/24 Test BO 48.65 -0.21 50.05 59.89 264K 500K 47.22
Buy Not Issued. Short step lower to the 10 day EMA for SF Friday. On rising below average volume and resting at the late September recovery move's high and will be ready to jump in once it starts to resume uphill.

SPY 09/26 Rolling 110.34 -1.51 120.48 125.00 462M 350M 118.39
Exited. SPY selling hard Friday as we got out here at the end of the week as it just could not stop the bleeding.

THS 10/01 Asc Bse 30.49 -0.74 31.25 35.88 477K 475K 29.66
Current. Sold a bit after pushing some modest upside movement through Friday. On just above average trade now and looking to test its Asc bse high towards 30.0 at the 10 day EMA and September highs.

TOL 09/27 Cup hdl 21.90 -1.87 26.55 30.95 8.8M 6M 24.69
Buy Not Hit. Another homebuilder that crated Friday. Dropped this one as it broke the 50 day EMA with no problem on the way down through Friday.

TSO 09/08 Trnd Rv 13.92 -0.50 20.03 24.55 8.4M 9.6M 18.63
Current. Still looking for a roll back up after TSO continued even lower through Friday. Solid Oil play though and has a rebound in the works.

USB 09/30 Test 50 35.06 -1.25 36.69 42.75 23M 30M 34.31
Current. USB with a bit of selling here Friday. On average trade and now at the 18 day EMA so looking to see it hold its uptrend line from the early September upside movement.

UTHR 08/09 Test BO 100.55 -3.43 112.07 124.95 741K 800K 108.55
Exited. Got out of this one Friday as it broke the key 90 day SMA with ease as it surged lower through the session and continues lower from its late September recovery move high.

WBSN 09/18 Test 50 19.46 -1.01 23.75 28.55 751K 700K 22.87
Current. Decided to let it go a bit further as it is already trying to fill the gap. Will let it test the 200 day SMA and see if we get a bounce to buy in with some more positions.

WFC 09/23 Test BO 34.56 -0.60 36.94 41.85 81M 70M 34.35
Current. Gapped higher on the news it stole WB from C, but then threats of a lawsuit and details came out and WFC eroded back all day, slipping negative just before the close. Still like it as it holds its key uptrend line at the 18 day EMA, but want to see the short selling ban extended this coming week.

WFC 09/06 Rev HS 34.56 -0.60 33.44 37.95 81M 55M 36.94
Current.

WTNY 10/02 Trnd Rv 23.08 -1.47 25.11 29.95 415K 1.5M 23.65
Buy Not Issued. WTNY selling some more through early October and now at the key 50 day EMA and 200 day SMA on low volume so has to hold the line support.

Downside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
CEDC 09/23 Put 42.84 -1.16 45.11 39.31 573K 1.4M 46.62
Buy Not Issued. Just not breaking down, but if it continues lower this week it is worth some buys.

EEV 10/01 Test 50 116.30 +5.43 103.11 120.00 1.2M 1.8M 108.48
Tested early as the market rallied, and then turned back up giving a good test and recovery with Emerging Markets heading lower as its inverse. Watching it to head higher from here with the market looking to push a bit lower.

SDS 10/01 Test 50 77.11 +1.98 70.88 78.95 54M 40M 74.77

SDS 09/22 Trnd Rv 77.11 +1.98 70.86 75.75 54M 35M 75.32
Current. SP500 pushing lower so SDS having a great day as it surged uphill again on rising, high volume now and only looking to push uphill into next week given the market issues.
