Upside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 07/08 Rolling 202.55 -0.85 138.55 149.91 16M 23M 207.91
Current. After three days of upside AAPL paused, but still bouncing off the intraday low at the 50 day EMA (200.58) support. Lower volume again, but still not too worried about that right now. Will see how it hangs on and tests at this support, and then see if the roll higher will move AAPL through resistance from the October (205.20) and November (207.00) highs.

AAPL 04/15 Test 20 202.55 -0.85 119.69 132.77 16M 25M 207.91
Current.

AMED 01/30 ABCD Up 58.88 -0.92 57.05 67.95 1.4M 1.5M 55.88
Current. Six straight days of gains brought AMED to the January peak (60.50 open), but then it slid back down Wednesday. Volume actually picked up with this move, but it was not unexpected action so nothing to worry about. Just have to see how AMED tests and where it can hold.

ANN 02/05 Flag 15.64 +0.45 15.12 17.65 1.8M 3.2M 14.06
Current. After a week of lateral action along the 15 dollar mark ANN jumped higher Wednesday. Better volume with the move and like the action, but it did fade off the intraday high to close back with the prior February peak (15.75). A positive step though, so will see if ANN makes any headway at this 16ish resistance Thursday.

ASH 01/27 Asc Tri 46.29 +1.35 42.69 49.89 1.9M 1.5M 43.22
Current. Fourth solid day higher, and moved with stronger, above average volume Wednesday. Really solid upside and took ASH over the prior peak from September (44.96 open). Now will see if ASH can continue to run, or if it slips lower to test this punch through resistance.

ATW 02/16 Rolling 33.95 -0.08 34.21 39.45 772K 1.3M 32.03
Buy Not Issued. Still looks decent for a roll back up though want to see how it comes off of this more bearish doji for the session. Still in the lateral move and bumping against 34ish resistance so just continuing to watch. Still looking for the buy if it can make the upside move at this level.

CAGC 02/12 Cup hdl 21.15 +1.75 17.61 21.32 2.2M 1.2M 15.96
Buy Not Issued. Big gap higher and not able to buy. Have to see if it will test, and dropping it until then.

CHK 02/11 Test 20 26.36 +0.53 25.22 29.44 15M 18M 23.45
Buy Not Issued. Gapped up with volume and not a level to buy it. Going to drop it until it can start to test.

CMG 01/26 Test BO 104.46 +0.67 98.45 110.00 363K 550K 97.62
Current. Holding its own with very modest upside, but more of a lateral move with this low volume. This one still looks like a test could rejuvenate it, but going to see how it plays out at this level over the next couple of sessions. It is capable of pressing higher, but we will see.

CNMD 02/04 ABCD Up 22.32 -0.16 22.89 26.45 239K 265K 21.56
Buy Not Issued. Ran higher intraday to the 23 mark, but then faded back to close lower at the 50 day EMA (22.17). Holding up at decent support and still more of a lateral move to continue the six days of sidestepping, but getting more volatile on stronger volume. Will see if CNMD can start to show life Thursday with a bounce up that holds.

CRL 02/09 Cup hdl 37.28 +0.32 36.44 41.94 477K 1.2M 34.77
Buy Not Issued. Gapped higher for two straight sessions but on lower volume. Not able to get in with this action so going to see if it will test now. Looking for a fade more towards the 18 day EMA (36.33) that holds before buying.

CRS 02/11 ABCD Up 30.22 -0.15 28.38 32.94 688K 675K 25.88
Buy Not Issued. Started higher, but then slipped back so not buying. Not able to do much either way intraday, though volume did jump up to above average. Also, not really wanting to buy at this level, so a test would be nice to see. Could see if downside sticks at the early February high (29.32) and bounces and then reconsider.

DECK 02/16 ABCD Up 103.50 +2.18 101.56 112.44 227K 500K 94.45
Buy Not Issued. Gapped for the second session and not much volume to speak of. Hard to chase these so waiting for a test now. The 100 mark is very strong support with the Oct-Dec highs as well as the 50 day EMA. A bounce there that can start to work higher would be a good entry.

DNDN 01/21 ABCD Up 32.13 -0.02 29.54 33.48 2.1M 3M 30.31
Current. Gapped higher and then faded back to close flat on the day. Did manage a bounce off the intraday low, but after three prior sessions upside and with the fading volume a test back looks pretty certain. If it does test, can see if it holds 31ish support but will give it time to see if it gets that low.

EAT 02/08 Test BO 18.22 +0.14 16.81 19.91 1.5M 2.8M 17.11
Current. This is better. Showed a doji Tuesday that finished well off the intraday high, but managed to post modest gain Wednesday anyways. Bumping its head with that gap to the August high (18.33) still, but will see if EAT can hold its ground. If it does that would be great. If it fades, will let it but see where it tests to.

FCX 02/05 Dbl btm 75.12 -0.82 70.96 84.92 16M 20M 72.52
Current. Gapped to that doji Tuesday, but now fading back away from the 50 day EMA (76.35) Wednesday. Bounced off the intraday low at the 18 day EMA (73.73) and that is a positive, but holding firmly under the resistance level. With volume continuing to drop this could be where FCX pauses, but going to see if this one can keep its head above water through the end of the week.

FNSR 02/13 DB hdl 12.13 +0.42 11.75 13.97 2.3M 1.2M 10.91
Current. Continued the upside Wednesday, and broke over the January high (11.47) with very strong volume. Really pretty solid action so will see if it continues upward to finish the week.

GMCR 02/01 Test BO 83.31 +0.51 86.12 99.88 879K 2M 80.91
Current. Bounced nicely off the intraday low to hold the 18 day EMA (82.57) and even post modest gain. Volume is still hanging below average and is fading so a breakout is not likely right now. Ok to let this one continue laterally in this range under the 85 mark for now and will see how it wraps up the week.

GOOG 02/05 BullRev 538.20 -3.09 539.42 574.45 2M 4M 537.32
Current. Didn't really like this action as it taped the 18 day EMA (543.85) and then shied away from it. Not a fatal move though as it holds the 10 day EMA (537.65). Nonetheless, moved up the stop loss on this one as it got near the top of the range and stalled Wednesday after a good volume upside day Tuesday.

HANS 02/13 Test 50 39.48 +0.43 39.41 44.94 744K 875K 37.68
Buy Not Issued. Nice bounce up off the 18 day EMA (39.07) and then held the move into the close. Just not quite enough power to get us moving in Wednesday. Still at a good level though, so a fade to the 18 day that bounces can give an entry. Continued upside might do the trick also. Will see what kind of strength HANS can show the next session or two.

HOLX 02/04 Test BO 16.07 -0.02 16.41 19.91 4.2M 5M 15.68
Buy Not Hit. Stepped laterally, and another solid bounce up from the intraday low at the 18 day EMA (15.86). Working along just as it should at this level, but still have to wait for the bounce before buying. Will see if we get that by the end of the week or if we will have to wait until next week.

HUM 02/05 ABCD Up 46.64 +0.63 47.69 54.55 1.7M 3.5M 45.44
Current. Held the 50 day EMA (46.12) and tried to bounce, but tapped the 18 day EMA (47.42) with the intraday high and faded back to a doji. Not the greatest effort Wednesday. Still, trying to bounce at support so will give it more time to make the move stick.

IBM 02/16 Dbl btm 126.33 +1.10 125.44 131.95 5.8M 7.5M 121.48
Buy Not Issued. Gapped and ran higher so not buying this one Wednesday. Closed at the 50 day EMA (126.42) though, so will see if we get testing now. If it tests and can hold the 18 day EMA (125.16) we can look at entering.

ILMN 02/10 ABCD Up 36.73 -0.45 36.53 40.97 1.2M 4M 34.42
Current. Modestly higher intraday but then faded back to close at the 10 day EMA (36.61). Also holding the trendline drawn through the January and early February highs, so there is slight support there as well. Looks ok to let ILMN work laterally for a couple sessions, and then will see if it can the zest to start working to the upside.

IPAR 01/29 Test BO 13.67 +0.05 13.52 16.00 60K 150K 12.48
Buy Not Issued. Stepped laterally with this doji, but a nice intraday reach to the 10 day EMA (13.29) that bounced quickly back up. Holding up at the late January high just as it should, and could get interesting now. Will see if IPAR can start to make a move over this level to get us looking at a possible entry, or if it continues to work in this lateral range.

ISRG 01/28 Test BO 341.15 +6.85 335.64 374.75 619K 700K 327.55
Current. Nice thump higher to the January peak (340.35), and did so with solid volume. This is better action with the continued upside off that Tuesday doji, and now just seeing how it continues. If ISRG keeps running that would be great, but slow upside or lateral action would be more a normal move in the market right now.

JOYG 02/13 Test 20 49.86 +0.69 49.05 55.00 4.3M 4M 47.44
Current. Gapped up to the 50 day EMA (50.85) and then sold back into the close. Big volume on the move and not the greatest action despite finishing positive. Looks like JOYG could test after this gap, so will have to see how it holds up Thursday.

MJN 02/09 Asc Tri 46.43 +1.03 47.21 54.55 2.3M 6M 45.54
Buy Not Hit. A good shakeout Tuesday with the intraday test and bounce, and now a nice turn higher Wednesday. This is the move we wanted to see coming off the Tuesday action, but still have to watch the lower volume as MJN challenges the January, February highs (47.00). If it can move through there and hold the move then we look at a buy.

MR 02/02 Test 50 36.49 -0.10 36.94 41.95 227K 1.4M 34.77
Current. Quiet side step on falling, below average volume. Pretty decent action though with this doji so just letting it continue to test over the 10 day EMA (36.21) and 36ish support. Great place to run from, but will see if it does.

NETL 02/05 Test BO 53.22 -0.90 50.68 56.94 563K 750K 49.98
Current. Four days solidly higher but then fell back Wednesday. Announced a stock split also. Not too worried about this one though as the downside was on smaller, below average trade after big volume upside. Will see if it tests further Thursday.

NFLX 02/05 Test BO 64.51 -0.35 61.42 69.97 1.2M 2.2M 61.66
Current. Very slight downside with this doji, but a decent bounce up off the intraday low. If this one tests, there is support at 62.50ish with the January high and then 10 day EMA (62.29). Still not looking like this will make the break higher just yet, but it could show a decent roll higher. Going to see how things play out.

NKTR 01/29 Test BO 12.60 +0.48 11.88 13.97 1.3M 1M 11.54
Current. Knifed higher Wednesday on stronger, above average volume. Closed off the high though and then faded further after hours. Still, holding at around 12.37, which is over support from the January peak (12.27 open). Will see if the volatility subsides any Thursday and if NKTR can resume its steady climb.

PCLN 02/11 Dbl btm 212.87 +1.66 210.99 229.91 2M 13M 199.77
Current. Modest gains with this doji, but on very high volume. Then exploded higher after hours with very strong earnings. Just north of the 226 mark now and right at the January high (226.56). Will see if it makes another push to hit our initial target, or if it tests the move any.

PDCO 02/13 Test 50 29.62 +0.01 29.57 33.89 1.5M 1.3M 28.32
Current. Tried to bounce, but showed a gravestone doji as it fell back to close flat. Not the action you want to see as PDCO tried to push through 30ish resistance, but this one is still in decent shape overall. Going to see how the week wraps up, and if PDCO can just keep holding/bouncing over the 50 day EMA (28.54) we will leave it on.

PLXS 02/02 Test BO 34.66 0.00 32.22 39.94 340K 425K 32.66
Current. A three day climb and then stepped laterally with this doji on Wednesday. Could be a continuation move with the bounce off the intraday low, but not so sure. Under the January peak (35.02) at this point with volume lower, so there is resistance to overcome. If PLXS resumes the upside and breaks through, fine. If this does turn out to be more of a relief bounce, this is where it will stall. Going to see how things play out with this resistance over the next couple of sessions.

PNRA 01/26 Test BO 73.23 -0.64 71.97 79.50 438K 650K 70.77
Current. Gapped up and sold back Tuesday, and now continued to move lower Wednesday to the 10 day EMA (72.75). Holding up at that line of support with this light trade, but does look like it could slip further to the 18 day EMA (72.04). If that is necessary to get this one back on track that is ok, but do want to see any downside stay controlled.

RIMM 01/13 Pennant 70.40 +0.15 66.11 79.94 13M 22M 65.32
Current. Lower intraday and then a bounce back up to hold the 200 day SMA (70.08). Lower volume with this testing and RIMM does look like it could still slip further, but the 10 day EMA (68.41) is there to bounce RIMM. Like this set up, but going to see if it can play out as it is set up to do.

RMD 02/10 Test BO 55.79 +0.34 55.08 61.89 623K 6.2M 53.41
Current. After the Tuesday downside, RMD bounced right back up off the 10 day EMA (54.64). Volume still stuck below average, but this one is doing its job right now. As it is, just leaving it and seeing if the bounce continues.

SHLD 02/04 Test 50 95.32 +2.64 91.31 104.89 1.9M 2.4M 92.11
Current. This is what we were looking for. After that Tuesday bounce on very low volume things did not look so great. Volume surged Wednesday though and the upside continued. Second day higher out of the seven day consolidation at 90 and looks solid. Seeing if this one continues to show strength now.

SINA 02/16 Dbl btm 38.03 +0.60 37.61 43.85 1.5M 1.4M 35.11
Buy Not Issued. Gapped higher, but then closed off the intraday high so did not buy. Want to see this one test slightly before moving in, so will see if it can do that Thursday. Will see how it plays out the rest of the week.

SJT 02/09 ABCD Up 21.45 -0.28 21.33 24.94 177K 350K 20.23
Current. Gapped to a doji Tuesday, and filling the move with the Wednesday downside. Volume did drop off with the move lower so things still look ok. Most likely was not ready for that Tuesday bounce so this is more a correction and we can see if SJT works horizontally Thursday.

SOA 01/28 Rev HS 14.64 +0.34 14.16 17.94 1.1M 1.8M 13.44
Current. Low volume upside on Tuesday, but more pep in its step with the Wednesday bounce. This move cleared SOA over the 14 support level and now we see if it continues or comes back to test 14.

TEVA 01/29 Test 50 57.94 -0.20 57.59 64.32 5.8M 6M 56.96
Current. Barely fading back as TEVA continues to test, and a good looking bounce up from the intraday low at the 18 day EMA (57.56). Would be a nice hold at this level if TEVA can bounce, so will see if it can do that Thursday.

TEX 02/11 Rolling 20.17 +0.31 19.34 23.77 3M 2.8M 18.38
Current. Gapped up, but a doji under the 50 day EMA (20.30). Not the best action for the upside and may try to fill the gap Thursday. Going to have to see how TEX deals with this resistance and going to give it a couple days to do so.

TSL 02/13 Test 50 25.83 -0.22 24.68 29.91 2.3M 4M 22.54
Buy Not Issued. Gapped and then sold back to finish negative, but did hold up at the 50 day SMA (25.33). May get a buy out of this one if it can test and hold up again. Going to see if things get started with the testing on Thursday.

WBSN 01/21 DB hdl 20.60 +0.45 19.36 23.44 619K 450K 19.38
Current. Tested the 10 day EMA (19.83) with the intraday low and then bounced to finish solidly higher. Very strong volume with the move and this was more than just the gradual spin higher we have seen for most of February. Will watch for WBSN to now either test back to the January high at 20ish or see if it tries to continue the break.

XTEX 01/29 Pennant 9.35 -0.15 10.01 11.95 74K 525K 9.31
Current. Flipped lower with the doji, but held up at the 18 day EMA (9.34) with low volume. This would be a great place to see XTEX hold and bounce, but there is the February low at 9 to use for support. This is one to watch to see if it can show life Thursday.

Downside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AMZN 02/08 Rollove 116.31 -1.22 116.80 108.55 8.9M 12M 120.68
Entered today. Contrarian with the buy to the downside, but like the set up so moved in. There is support as AMZN is sitting at the bottom of the February range (115.94), but this can be broken up with a good push lower. Will see how this one pans out for us.

BCSI 02/04 BearFla 27.30 +0.14 24.21 22.18 519K 700K 26.44
Current. Just slightly higher, but another doji so went ahead and waited again. This is where BCSI needs to fail as it sits atop the 50 day EMA (26.85), but giving it one more chance to fall below the 50 day. If it cannot start to give up this support we will still close it out.

CHKP 02/10 BearFla 32.87 +0.08 32.57 30.52 1.7M 2.5M 33.21
Buy Not Issued. Not the move we wanted for the buy, but not all bad with the gap higher and selling back to the 50 day EMA (32.85). If it can give up this support that would be very good for the downside, so seeing if it continues lower Thursday. May even get the buy with the right move lower, but we will see.

CRR 02/09 BearFla 63.82 -1.98 63.38 58.32 423K 450K 66.08
Buy Not Issued. Moved slightly higher Tuesday, but gave up the 50 day EMA (65.41) with this downside on volume. It may be ready now, and at this point we see if it can show this type of action again to give us the buy.

CTSH 02/16 BearRev 47.19 -0.24 47.15 43.08 2.9M 4M 48.54
Entered today. Showed that doji on Tuesday under the January high so went ahead and bought it with the Wednesday downside. This one looks very toppy after the weak bounce earlier in the month, and now we get to see if it will make the fall.

EGOV 02/13 BearRev 7.23 -0.08 7.21 6.04 255K 400K 7.62
Buy Not Issued. Stepped lower Wednesday, but a half decent bounce off the intraday low so we did not buy. Still a good level to move in, but want to see the downside hold the move before we jump on it. Going to watch for continued weakness Thursday.

IYT 02/09 BearFla 72.33 +0.22 71.11 68.08 540K 1.2M 72.48
Buy Not Issued. Gap higher and then sold, but did bounce from the intraday low to hold the 50 day EMA (72.12). Still bearish action, and still holding under the strong resistance from the September, October, November highs. This is where IYT will start to fold so giving it that chance on Thursday.

MA 02/13 BearFla 224.83 -0.47 224.42 212.00 1.2M 2M 230.11
Buy Not Issued. Not much going on Wednesday with this side step on low volume. Still a nice set up though as the 10 day EMA (229.78) falls to exert downside pressure. A buy if it can continue lower.

MFLX 01/23 Put 21.66 -0.11 24.22 22.00 104K 175K 21.71
Current. Four day, low volume relief bounce and now pausing with this doji Wednesday. Acting just as it should as it holds under the 10 day EMA (21.93) and it still looks like it can fall more. Now we give it a couple days to stumble under the resistance.

MON 02/04 BearFla 78.10 +0.81 75.56 70.15 4.3M 6M 76.78
Current. Gapped higher but showed a doji with the move. Did bounce modestly up from the intraday low, but left it to see if it will reverse any. Downside that bounces easily over the 18 day EMA (77.38) would be a warning, but if the move lower can hold we will see how far it falls.

MSTR 02/11 BearFla 86.00 -0.14 84.77 77.48 70K 200K 86.82
Buy Not Hit. Just a beautifully set up bear flag pattern, and continued to show weakness Wednesday as it held under the 10 day EMA (86.18). Great position to break lower from as the volume dries up, and now we just wait for the pattern to play out.

SNDK 02/04 BearFla 28.82 +1.48 26.10 23.22 18M 12M 27.48
Exited. Dang. Had still looked like it could stumble lower, but received an upgrade that gapped it higher. Had to pull the plug.

SSD 02/13 BearFla 24.57 -0.38 24.35 21.32 268K 300K 25.21
Buy Not Issued. Sold back from that Tuesday doji to close negative, but did see a bounce up from the intraday low. This is a start in the right direction after the climb up the past two weeks, but now we look for the downside that sticks. A test up to the 200 day SMA (24.71) that fails would be ok, but so would a continued break lower.

TRLG 01/23 Rollove 20.29 +1.02 19.54 17.54 980K 750K 19.72
Exited. After working along the 19 mark and not giving it up, TRLG bounced Wednesday. Bigger volume upside and couldn't hang around. Had to bag this one.
