Upside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 07/08 Rolling 202.92 +0.37 138.55 149.91 15M 23M 207.91
Current. Opened lower but bounced right back up at the 50 day EMA (200.68) to finish the day flat. Kind of a similar picture to RIMM with this bounce and test. Holding support so leaving it, and still going to see if this one can begin to work through those Oct/Nov highs at 205ish.

AAPL 04/15 Test 20 202.92 +0.37 119.69 132.77 15M 25M 207.91
Current.

AMED 01/30 ABCD Up 60.14 +1.26 57.05 67.95 708K 1.5M 56.56
Current. Bounced higher, but volume shrank and AMED closed well off the intraday high. Toppy action as AMED bumps against the January peak (60.50 open) and looks ready to test now. Will see how things hold up at the 10 day EMA (57.79) with any downside.

ANN 02/05 Flag 15.55 -0.09 15.12 17.65 805K 3.2M 14.06
Current. Faded just slightly, and really holding up nicely with this doji. Does look like it could pause now under that prior February high (15.75) after climbing to there Wednesday, but that is ok. Will see how it finishes the week and if it is still positioned to bounce over the 16ish level of resistance.

ASH 01/27 Asc Tri 46.47 +0.18 42.69 49.89 1M 1.5M 43.77
Current. Very modest upside with this doji on lower volume. ASH has made a pretty decent climb over the past four sessions to move through the September peak, but now may be ready to fade. Will see if it continues to take a breather Friday or if it could possibly resume the upside.

ATW 02/16 Rolling 33.93 -0.02 34.21 39.45 702K 1.3M 32.03
Buy Not Issued. Stepped laterally so not able to move in as it holds under the 34ish resistance. Still, bouncing off the low as it holds the range so it could still begin to run. Not really looking for the Friday buy, but will keep our eyes peeled in case this one starts to do something.

CMG 01/26 Test BO 103.98 -0.48 98.45 110.00 285K 550K 97.62
Current. Very small step lower with this low volume doji. Did give up intraday levels that were better, but ok to let this one continue to test. Will see if it can keep up this gradual test lower and work for a bounce up off the rising 10 day EMA (102.03).

CNMD 02/04 ABCD Up 22.39 +0.07 22.89 26.45 163K 265K 21.56
Buy Not Issued. Closed slightly positive, but not buying as CNMD turned back from the better intraday highs. Ok to continue watching though as it is bouncing as it needs to over the 50 day EMA (22.18) support. Will let this one play around a little while longer to see if it can start working more firmly to the upside to give us the buy.

CRL 02/09 Cup hdl 37.60 +0.32 36.44 41.94 519K 1.2M 34.77
Buy Not Issued. Gapped and worked higher from there to take away a buy. Dropping it.

CRS 02/11 ABCD Up 30.86 +0.64 28.38 32.94 443K 675K 25.88
Buy Not Issued. Higher again for CRS so dropping it. Will have to wait and see if it tests.

DECK 02/16 ABCD Up 104.46 +0.96 101.56 112.44 215K 500K 94.45
Buy Not Issued. Dropping this one now as it needs to test before we can buy.

DNDN 01/21 ABCD Up 32.01 -0.12 29.54 33.48 1.9M 3M 30.31
Current. Slipped lower but barely a move back with the bounce up off the intraday low. Light trade and this is the kind of testing we like to see after a run up. Still looking for further downside with a test, more towards 31, but if DNDN sticks to this level and can bounce up from the rising 10 day EMA (30.84) that would also be ok.

EAT 02/08 Test BO 18.24 +0.02 16.81 19.91 1.5M 2.8M 17.11
Current. Stepped laterally with this doji on the consistent, below average volume. Still holding up after the Tuesday gap, but a spinning top doji is showing EAT is being pulled both directions. At a resistance level with that August gap to a doji (18.33) so there is that to deal with still. Going to have to see if EAT can bounce again, but not going to hold our breath Friday. Will see how things play out.

FCX 02/05 Dbl btm 76.60 +1.48 70.96 84.92 19M 20M 72.52
Current. Gap lower but rallied back with stronger volume up to the 50 day EMA (76.36). A plus with the move holding into the finish, but still not crazy about FCX slowing at the resistance level. Would be very nice to see FCX hold up Friday.

FNSR 02/13 DB hdl 11.99 -0.14 11.75 13.97 1.2M 1.2M 10.91
Current. Short gap lower to a very tight doji. Volume lower with the move as well as FNSR breathes after three days of running. Will see if FNSR can resume the upside Friday, but this one does look ready to test after this doji. Will see how it wraps up the week and then decide how it should start things Monday.

GMCR 02/01 Test BO 83.49 +0.18 86.12 99.88 464K 2M 80.91
Current. Very low volume with this lateral doji Thursday. Still bouncing up over the 18 day EMA (82.66) as GMCR grinds along, but does not look ready to start running with the lighter trade. Ok to see how it continues over support Friday, and then see if things sweeten up next week.

GOOG 02/05 BullRev 543.22 +5.01 539.42 574.45 2.3M 4M 537.32
Current. Decent upside Thursday though still halting with the 18 day EMA (543.79). This does look like it will be one of those that makes more of a gentle roll higher rather than a sharp breakout. Still, volume is better for the upside than the downside so there is strength there. Going to see what GOOG can manage Friday and early next week to keep working to the upside.

HANS 02/13 Test 50 40.51 +1.03 39.41 44.94 779K 875K 37.68
Buy Not Issued. Gapped and ran away from us so have to drop this one for now.

HOLX 02/04 Test BO 16.24 +0.17 16.41 19.91 2.7M 5M 15.68
Buy Not Hit. Gapped and then shuffled just slightly higher into the close. Turning up off a good support level at 16, but want to see that the upside can continue before moving in. Would also be good to have volume swell with further gains to give the move more power. That may be tough to do, but we like the set up so giving it time.

HUM 02/05 ABCD Up 46.20 -0.44 47.69 54.55 2.5M 3.5M 45.44
Current. Faded slightly Thursday, but this doji is still holding at the support from the 50 day EMA (46.13). Still looks good to run up from this level after holding this support for a couple of weeks now. Will see if anything can get started Friday with this swelling volume to back a move.

IBM 02/16 Dbl btm 127.81 +1.48 125.44 131.95 5.5M 7.5M 121.48
Buy Not Issued. Ran higher Thursday and not a level we can pick it up. Will have to see if it tests, but dropping it until then.

ILMN 02/10 ABCD Up 36.64 -0.09 36.53 40.97 1.3M 4M 34.42
Current. Closed just barely in the red with this doji over the 10 day EMA (36.62). Very light volume with this action and this one does look primed to run. Higher volume would help with any upside, but if it can just stick to this support level we will give it more time to bounce like we know it can.

IOC 02/17 ABCD Up 68.80 +0.45 69.04 82.44 594K 1.6M 65.89
Buy Not Issued. Short step higher for IOC, and a nice looking bounce up from the intraday low at the 50 day EMA (66.97). This one looks very nicely set up to bounce, and going to keep a close eye on it now. Ready to move in if we see upside that sticks.

IPAR 01/29 Test BO 13.72 +0.05 13.52 16.00 63K 150K 12.48
Buy Not Issued. Upside Thursday, but not developing any volume with the move so letting it go.

ISRG 01/28 Test BO 344.75 +3.60 335.64 374.75 433K 700K 333.45
Current. Bumped modestly higher Thursday with volume down to below average. Not a clear break higher over the January peak (340.35 close, 346.29 intraday) so testing back is still possible, but going to see how this gradual upside continues Friday.

JOYG 02/13 Test 20 51.01 +1.15 49.05 55.00 4.3M 4M 48.08
Current. This is the kind of strength we want to see after that Wednesday gap and rollover at resistance. Volume held in place above average as JOYG bounced right back up to close just north of the 50 day EMA (50.86). Key area to see if JOYG will continue or fade back again so will see how things finish Friday.

MJN 02/09 Asc Tri 46.47 +0.04 47.21 54.55 2.2M 6M 45.54
Buy Not Hit. Lateral step Thursday, but a nice intraday reach lower to the 18 day EMA (45.80) and bounce back up to finish with a doji. Pausing under the earlier February highs (47.00), but still looks like it can bounce further. Will have to see how things wrap up Friday, and see whether MJN is still positioned to start running higher.

MR 02/02 Test 50 37.18 +0.69 36.94 41.95 329K 1.4M 35.05
Current. Worked laterally to start the week, but a pretty decent bounce up from the 10 day EMA (36.39) Thursday. A couple things to point out though. Still holding at the prior February high (37.13) with this upside, and volume remained below average. Not getting too worried, but do want to keep these in mind as we watch the Friday action. Will see if MR can break through or if it goes back again to test this move.

NETL 02/05 Test BO 54.36 +1.14 50.68 56.94 688K 750K 50.54
Current. Four days of solid upside and then faded Wednesday, but bounced right back up Thursday. Better volume with this upside as well so that is also a plus. May not be able to make an uninterrupted run higher now, but can see if it will push further to hit our initial target. If it does, great. If it reverses Friday to start testing, will go ahead and let it.

NFLX 02/05 Test BO 66.10 +1.59 61.42 69.97 1.3M 2.2M 62.47
Current. Opened lower but vaulted back up to finish with solid gains. Better action and getting moving like we knew it could. This move looks pretty healthy so going to see how it wraps up the week and we will go from there.

NKTR 01/29 Test BO 12.87 +0.27 11.88 13.97 511K 1M 11.97
Current. Big bounce Wednesday though it gave up a good chunk off the high at the close, and like how it just continued the upside Thursday with another solid move. Volume was down, but then entire move held into the close and NKTR does look like it can reach further. Going to see if it can indeed push farther moving into the weekend.

PCLN 02/11 Dbl btm 232.95 +20.08 210.99 229.91 4M 13M 225.77
Target Hit. Gapped on strong earnings and then pushed further into the close to hit our target. Happily banked 70% on part of our options, letting the rest run and will see how it starts things Friday.

PDCO 02/13 Test 50 29.54 -0.08 29.57 33.89 1.8M 1.3M 28.32
Current. Unable to make any headway, but a nice intraday reach to the 18 day EMA (29.13) that bounced back up. Still looks like it could work to the upside, though the action Wednesday was sketchy. Ok to see how things pan out Friday and we will go from there.

PLXS 02/02 Test BO 35.47 +0.81 32.22 39.94 307K 425K 33.09
Current. Intraday reach lower to 34 and then bounced sharply up to close over the January high (35.02). Really good looking move for four out of five sessions of solid gain. Volume was lower below average, but still like the way things are shaping up. Will see if it tries to test back towards the January high or if PLXS will push further.

PNRA 01/26 Test BO 73.34 +0.11 71.97 79.50 438K 650K 70.77
Current. Quiet lateral step with this doji over the 10 day EMA (72.85), and looks nicely positioned to bounce. Saw that gap and rollover Tuesday, but now showing more life as PNRA holds this support. In a good place to make the move, but will see if it can actually do it now.

RIMM 02/17 Flag 71.32 +0.92 70.98 88.91 12M 22M 67.44
Entered today. After pausing for several sessions RIMM started to bounce again. Good enough for a buy so we picked it up as it looks like it will start to move off this support now.

RIMM 01/13 Pennant 71.32 +0.92 66.11 79.94 12M 22M 67.48
Current.

RMD 02/10 Test BO 57.43 +1.64 55.08 61.89 1M 6.2M 54.04
Current. Clicked higher with strong volume Thursday after the testing Tuesday/Wednesday. This is what we were looking for, and now will see if this can set off RMD into a further run. Will see how it ends the week.

SHLD 02/04 Test 50 94.40 -0.92 91.31 104.89 1.3M 2.4M 92.11
Current. Strong bounce Wednesday with better volume, and just testing that move with the fall back Thursday. Still looks good with the lower volume downside and the bounce up off the intraday low. Like this set up and think it will start to run up from this level.

SINA 02/16 Dbl btm 38.05 +0.02 38.06 43.85 474K 1.4M 35.88
Entered today. Closed off the intraday high Wednesday so held off the buy, but picked up SINA as it held the upside Thursday. Volume did drop off to below average, but like the set up so going to see how it works for us.

SJT 02/09 ABCD Up 21.92 +0.47 21.33 24.94 155K 350K 20.23
Current. Tested back Wednesday but bounced right back up Thursday, though volume was down slightly. Also, still at the February highs (21.93) so there is that to move through as well. Going to see how things play out Friday, but would not be surprised with just a lateral step of some sort.

SOA 01/28 Rev HS 14.48 -0.16 14.16 17.94 654K 1.8M 13.44
Current. Upside Tuesday/Wednesday, but retreated Thursday with lower volume. Ok to test at this point and will see how it fades to the 14ish support where SOA held at the beginning of the month. If it gets to that level we will see how it bounces.

TEVA 01/29 Test 50 57.19 -0.75 57.59 64.32 5.6M 6M 56.96
Current. Fell for the third day with volume holding at average, and not crazy about this action as it fell through the 18 day EMA (57.52). Will see if it can hold at this 57ish level Friday and start to bounce as this is the range it needs to stick.

TEX 02/11 Rolling 19.72 -0.45 19.34 23.77 4.2M 2.8M 18.38
Current. Gapped lower but then a great surge back intraday. Couldn't stick the landing at that 20 resistance, though, and will be key how it reacts Friday. If it tries again to retake 20 and fails, it will be a very poor set up and a warning to us. Important to see life out of this one with a hold or upside that sticks.

TSL 02/13 Test 50 25.84 +0.01 25.85 29.91 1.9M 4M 23.89
Entered today. Tested lower intraday but bounced right back up so we moved in. Like this action as TSL closed right at the high and is positioned to work to the upside. Will see what it can do now.

WBSN 01/21 DB hdl 20.59 -0.01 19.36 23.44 399K 450K 19.38
Current. Big jump Wednesday but a pause with a tight doji Thursday. Looks more like a short pause before continued upside and just letting it run. Will see how it plays out Friday and see how it continues to work for us.

XTEX 01/29 Pennant 9.33 -0.02 10.01 11.95 161K 525K 9.31
Current. Lateral step with this doji, but bouncing off the intraday low to hold near the 18 day EMA (9.34). Like this hold and bouncing off the 9 support so giving it a chance to turn back higher now. Will see if it can do that Friday.

Downside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AMZN 02/08 Rollove 118.08 +1.77 116.80 108.55 9.8M 12M 120.68
Current. Well it looked ready to continue falling after the Wednesday move, but went ahead and bounced moderately Thursday. Holding under light resistance with the 10 day EMA (118.41) still so letting it play. A downside bias, but do want to see AMZN hold under 120 with any further upside and break back lower.

BCSI 02/04 BearFla 27.83 +0.53 24.21 22.18 498K 700K 26.44
Exited. Showed back to back doji on Tuesday/Wednesday so held on, but with the bounce up Friday had to close it down. Not a good downside set up anymore.

CHKP 02/10 BearFla 32.84 -0.03 32.57 30.52 2.2M 2.5M 33.21
Buy Not Issued. A lateral step with this doji at the 50 day EMA (32.85), but not too crazy about the intraday reach lower that bounced. Still at this resistance level though, so will see if it shows weakness Friday. Will likely have to wait until next week for the buy, but will see how the week wraps up.

CRR 02/09 BearFla 64.02 +0.20 63.38 58.32 341K 450K 66.08
Buy Not Issued. Really nice fall on Wednesday, but not able to move in as it bounced Thursday. Still looks good for the downside, but might test further to 65ish resistance before failing. Will see if it can show any weakness in the next couple of sessions.

CTSH 02/16 BearRev 47.30 +0.11 47.15 43.08 3M 4M 48.54
Current. Mostly a lateral step with this doji after rolling over Wednesday. Looks ripe to fall but just a short pause Thursday. Giving it more time now and will see if it starts to tumble down from this doji.

EGOV 02/13 BearRev 7.47 +0.24 7.21 6.04 241K 400K 7.62
Buy Not Issued. A bigger bounce Thursday after that nice Wednesday downside. At that very serious 7.50 resistance though and a low volume bounce so this one is setting up for the downside. Going to see how it reacts Friday and if it can give us a buy with the break lower.

FWLT 02/17 BearFla 27.88 +0.32 27.37 24.28 1.7M 3M 28.69
Buy Not Issued. Gapped and rolled over Wednesday but a short relief bounce Thursday. Will see how it stalls at this 28ish resistance now as this would be a good place to fail.

IYT 02/09 BearFla 72.33 0.00 71.11 68.08 337K 1.2M 72.48
Buy Not Issued. Another doji, and bouncing off the intraday low to hold the 50 day EMA (72.13). Still under good resistance with the September-November highs, though, so just giving IYT more time to play out. If it is going to break down, this is where it will do so.

MA 02/13 BearFla 222.00 -2.83 224.42 212.00 1.7M 2M 230.11
Fell lower Thursday with volume swelling. Nice action to the downside and still a buy as it continues lower. There will be support at 220ish with the February low, but MA is slipping back as it should so just letting it continue.

MFLX 01/23 Put 21.80 +0.14 24.22 22.00 53K 175K 21.71
Target Hit. Slight bounce but not really making any headway Thursday. Went ahead and took the rest of the gain off the table with the bounce up from the intraday low.

MON 02/04 BearFla 77.83 -0.27 75.56 70.15 2.9M 6M 76.78
Current. Gapped lower, swung widely both directions, and then finished up with a doji. Holding the 18 day EMA (77.43), but retreating after that Wednesday gap up to a doji so we left it. Not the greatest action, but will see if MON can fall more to get the downside back on track.

MSTR 02/11 BearFla 85.04 -0.96 84.77 77.48 84K 200K 86.82
Buy Not Issued. Fell lower away from the 10 day EMA (85.97) and that Wednesday doji. Down on an upside session and looks like it will continue lower. Will see if it can do just that to give us a buy.

RL 02/17 BearFla 80.57 +0.27 79.44 75.05 562K 1.4M 80.98
Buy Not Hit. Bounced Thursday, but a modest move with very low volume. Also is still holding under the 50 day EMA (80.70) resistance to set up a good looking bear flag. Will see if it can break down now and fall to support at 75 to make us quick money.

SSD 02/13 BearFla 24.41 -0.16 24.35 21.32 218K 300K 25.21
Buy Not Issued. More downside Thursday, but too big of a bounce off the intraday low so we held off the buy. Still a good level to buy, so just giving this one more time to see if further downside sticks. May get the buy if we see a good fall Friday, but likely will have to wait until next week.
