Begin Part 2 of 2

THE PLAYS: Tonight we are doing some best plays only given the short trading session Friday. A full report will be issued Saturday.

Good movers: The downside was hot again today on the test lower, and later some of the upside plays were stirring, setting back up.

BONUS PLAYS:

Downside:

TRI (Triad Hospitals--$40.62; +1.68; optionable): Home health care
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/t/tri.html
STATUS: Test of breakdown. TRI is suffering along with most of the medical areas of late, knifing through its 50 day MVA Monday and falling further Tuesday. Today it started to mount its move back up on much lower, below average volume. We are looking for it to run back up to the 50 day MVA (41.99; there is price resistance there as well from the May top), and then turn back down. That will be our entry point.
Volume: 705.5K Avg Volume: 855.272K
BUY POINT: After a test of 42, a fall back through $41.49. Volume=850K Target=$37.25 Stop=$43
POSITION: TRI TJ - Aug. $50 put (-70 delta)
http://www.investmenthouse.com/cs/tri.html

Upside:

MANT (Mantech Intl.--$23.3; +0.2; no options): Business software
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/m/mant.html
STATUS: A new issue in February, MANT has formed a 2.5 month cup and may be trying to form a handle this week. Pretty short handle, however. Nonetheless, there are a lot of things we like about the stock and the pattern. It is in its first base after being issued. We like to let new issues move through their first base and pick them up when they break out. In the base accumulation weeks lead distribution weeks 5 to 1; that is very solid accumulation. We are looking for the breakout.
Volume: 150.5K Avg Volume: 97.227K
BUY POINT: $24.25 Volume=150K Target=$29.25 Stop=$21.92
POSITION: Stock (no option chain)
http://www.investmenthouse.com/cs/mant.html

Continuing Bonus Plays:

ABY (Abitibi-Consolidated--$9.28; +0.06; optionable): Paper products
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/a/aby.html
STATUS: Ascending wedge. Gapped higher Wednesday, trying the breakout again, but no volume as trade fell even further below average. It may pull back some more here toward 9.12, but not much before it tries the breakout. Need to see the good breakout volume.
Volume: 204.3K Avg Volume: 278.954K
BUY POINT: $9.55 Volume=325K Target=$11.5 Stop=$8.55
POSITION: ABY JU - Oct. $7.50 call (76 delta) and/or Stock
http://www.investmenthouse.com/cs/aby.html

CHRZ and WERN from the Tuesday report started to move up. Please see Tuesday report for the details.

PRE-ANNOUNCEMENT

BBBY, CHBS, HUG, URBN featured on Tuesday are all holding up after Wednesday action. Please see the Tuesday report for the buy points and specifics.

POST-SPLITS BEST PLAYS:

Upside

COCO (Corinthian Colleges--$31.65; -0.29; optionable): Education and training
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/c/coco.html
STATUS: Testing the breakout, showing a very tight doji that tested below the 18 day MVA and rallying back to close right on the 10 day MVA. This is a signal of a momentum change and we are looking for the move back up now.
Volume: 738.6K Avg Volume: 457.727K
BUY POINT: New positions: $32.65. Volume=450K Target=$37.25 Stop=$29.16
POSITION: UCS KE - Nov. $25 call (83 delta)
http://www.investmenthouse.com/cs/coco.html

JILL (J. Jill Group--$23.81; +0.15; optionable): Mail order
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/j/jill.html
STATUS: Okay, this is better action. Wednesday JILL tested down lower but rallied back to close above the 18 day MVA on lower volume. It looks ready to move back up in a market move.
Volume: 159.6K Avg Volume: 266.409K
BUY POINT: 24.50Volume=300K Target=$26.64 Stop=$22.16
POSITION: JUI IF - Sept. $30 call (83 delta)
http://www.investmenthouse.com/cs/jill.html

Downside

THC (Tenet Healthcare--$47.6; +1; optionable): Hospitals
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/t/thc.html
STATUS: THC has not performed for us on the split, but it is giving a move back up to the 50 day MVA (48.18), a point of exit on the test that does not break over it. The volume on Wednesday's move up was lower, indicating it may stall at the 50 day MVA. That gives a chance to exit and a chance for some downside plays.
Volume: 2.136M Avg Volume: 1.789M
BUY POINT: $47.50 Volume=1.8M Target=$44.05 Stop=$49.50
POSITION: THC TK - Aug. $55 put (no delta available, no OI)
http://www.investmenthouse.com/cs/thc.html

WATCHLIST/ CONTINUING

On Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday we provide full comments on each continuing play.

We have put all plays in a summary table that contains the date the stock was put on the report (so you can go back and check out the details of the play) and the other pertinent information. This provides more information than the watchlist summaries and still contains comments when appropriate. VIEW THIS IN COURIER NEW, 12 FOR BEST RESULTS. You can also easily print the table from the website (www.investmenthouse.com) from the 'current reports' section. If you just want to print the table you can cut and paste it to a word document setting the font to Courier New size 12. Just left click on the beginning of the table and drag to the table end. After selecting, right click and select 'copy.' Paste into your word processor. Select it all and choose Courier New, font size 12.
