AAPL 07/08 Rolling 260.83 +3.95 138.55 149.91 31M 23M 255.11
Current. The reason NASDAQ 100 was up on the session though AAPL closed well off its high. DOJ is looking at AAPL for its dominance in music industry, etc. Ironic; wants to sue AAPL for being a success and creating millions of jobs in its company and offshoot technologies/companies while the feds are fostering FNM and FRE and their stealing from the citizens. ALSO, the technical pattern on AAPL is troublesome: a shooting star doji at the 78% Fibonacci retracement of the April to May selloff; a double top at that point is a downside signal. Coupled with the shooting start we are going to look at a downside play. Will give it a little longer to see if it shakes it off and can hold up, but have to be watchful now.
AAPL 04/15 Test 20 260.83 +3.95 119.69 132.77 31M 25M 255.11
Current.
AKAM 05/06 Flag 39.50 -0.22 38.14 44.75 3.1M 4.5M 37.44
Current. Gapped lower to the 18 day EMA (38.77), held it, and bounced back. Moved into positive territory, but not able to stick the move and slid back to finish lower on the day. Not great action to see at the late April high, but sticking up where it has to for now. Will see if it can keep holding the moving average for support, and if it starts to bounce up from there.
AKAM 04/05 Flat 39.50 -0.22 32.84 39.89 3.1M 4.5M 37.44
Current.
ARO 05/22 Test 20 27.46 -0.25 28.88 33.44 4.5M 3M 26.86
Buy Not Issued. Reached all the way up to the 50 day EMA (28.30), but hit a wall and fell back to finish with a doji. Thanks to the initial gap lower, ARO finished in the red with the doji to start the week. Still working along over a key level of support, but this is where it needs to firm up and show life to the upside to keep the play in shape.
BID 05/27 ABCD Up 30.60 -1.90 32.77 38.91 1.2M 2.2M 30.48
Buy Not Issued. Doji just over the 50 day EMA (32.17) last Friday, but gapped lower and sold down Tuesday. Not a buy as it gave up important support so now have to see how it reacts. If it can bounce back and show life we keep watching it, but will see if it can actually do that Wednesday.
BIDU 05/29 Flag 73.56 +0.35 75.11 82.11 12M 20M 71.98
Entered today. Bought it as it started lower with market but reversed, looking solid. Didn't necessarily finish that way, though, and now have to see what it can do Wednesday. Want to see that it can hold up at this level and stay in good position to make a move.
BIDU 05/17 Flag 73.56 +0.35 71.16 84.89 12M 20M 65.93
Current.
BONT 05/22 ABCD Up 12.44 -0.54 13.33 18.00 197K 384K 12.40
Buy Not Issued. Sold back again to undercut the late May support that formed the D point of the pattern. As it did that we have to drop it for now.
CHCI 05/13 ABCD Up 2.08 -0.08 2.81 3.95 64K 600K 2.39
Current. Gapped lower, tested back up to the 10 day EMA (2.24), and then turned back down to finish with a doji. Certainly not a pretty move, but it is sticking over key support with the late May low and 50 day EMA (2.01) still. As it is sticking with the key level it can still bounce, so we just give it a chance to. Do want to see that soon, however.
CME 05/03 Flag 311.63 -5.02 328.77 357.55 481K 950K 317.11
Current. Gap down, reversed solidly, but nothing stuck and CME moved down to close at session lows. Still over the 200 day SMA (309.09) with this move back and that is where CME bounced up from last week so just left it on. Will see if it can show any life for us at this point, and will leave it alone if it can hold and bounce.
CMG 05/10 Flag 141.25 -1.03 138.71 158.42 569K 775K 134.77
Current. Turned lower Friday, moving away from the April and May peaks at 144ish. Down a little more again to start the week as CMG closed well off the highs, showing a doji. Still not crazy about this big finish off the highs, but it is positioned over the light 10 day EMA (139.53) support still. Will let it test a little more if needed, and see how it does at the 10 day.
CMG 01/26 Test BO 141.25 -1.03 98.45 110.00 569K 550K 13477.
Current.
CSTR 05/22 Flag 53.02 -0.64 54.66 61.94 1.1M 1.8M 51.08
Current. Great start up for us Thursday, but turned back down on us Friday. Tried to get things moving again to start the week, but nothing stuck and the stock finished lower. Not a big move back, but does look like it will try to test to support with the 18 day EMA (51.71) and the low from the late May dip back (51.89 open). If it sticks to that level and can bounce we just let it do so.
DLTR 05/29 PreSplt 61.69 -0.90 62.89 67.75 1.4M 1.6M 61.65
Buy Not Hit. Stepped lower with the market to start the week, now working along over the 18 day EMA (61.40). Would be a great level to hold as the early May peak is also at this point, so seeing if it does just that Wednesday. If it can manage to hold up we just give it time and see if it bounces up to our buy point and sticks.
DNDN 01/21 ABCD Up 42.41 -0.99 29.54 33.48 3.1M 3M 46.72
Current. Gapped lower, rebounded, and then slid back to finish lower with the doji. Over key 50 day EMA (41.61) support so we leave it alone, but do have to watch it now. Just not able to show us any life at this point. Giving it another chance, but need to see something soon from this one.
DSW 05/04 Flag 27.42 -1.46 29.84 36.45 472K 600K 27.75
Exited. Tested back pretty decently to hold the 50 day EMA (28.23) late last week, but gave it up Tuesday. As it could not hold a recovery off the lows we had to shut this one down.
EAT 05/27 Dbl btm 17.28 -0.50 18.12 20.81 1.1M 2.5M 16.85
Buy Not Hit. Not a good sign as EAT stepped back to give up the 10 day EMA (17.63). Still holding some of the lows from last week so giving it more time, but don't have much room to let this one fade and still keep the short double bottom in effect. Have to see that it can start to climb for us again off this level to keep us interested.
ECPG 05/04 Test BO 20.14 -0.76 21.28 25.94 102K 245K 20.48
Current. Ugly swipe lower Tuesday to turn below the 10 and 18 day EMA (20.65, 20.67) on us. Did stick well over the 50 day EMA (19.83) so left it on, and will see if the stock can bounce up from there as it did early last week. Watching closely to make sure it can stick at that point.
EXBD 05/07 Flag 30.62 -1.77 32.44 37.94 390K 425K 30.11
Current. Big finish off the high Friday to show a doji at the earlier May peaks. Not a good sign, and EXBD turned right down on us to start things Tuesday. Still over a support level with the late May lows (30.23 open), but that is where EXBD needs to stick. Will need to mind the stops if the stock starts below that support.
FCX 05/25 Rolling 66.49 -3.56 69.21 78.92 13M 20M 65.88
Current. Pretty decent bounce back last week before starting to turn over Friday. Gapped and sold back even more Tuesday, and now taking an important test at the February lows (66.74). Very key point for the stock to firm up and bounce from. Watch the stop.
GLD 05/24 Test 18 119.91 +1.03 117.32 122.24 12M 38M 116.89
Current. Gold had a good day and GLD gapped over the prior peak (119.18). Now it needs to hold it so will watch how it reacts for us Wednesday. Really want to see strength from this point with a continued push higher.
GS 05/26 Trnd Rv 141.86 -2.40 143.81 160.42 9.4M 20M 135.52
Current. Doji at the 18 day EMA (143.93) Friday, and now a slide back from there to start the week. Still, working along near the 10 day EMA (142.14) so can see how GS reacts Wednesday. If it can firm up at this range and then start back to the upside, we leave it alone.
ILMN 05/11 ABCD Up 41.49 -0.55 42.52 47.95 934K 2M 39.86
Buy Not Issued. Gapped down, rebounded, and then gave it up to finish with a doji. Not great for the move, but not a deal breaker either. Will look at it as it fades to the 10 day EMA (41.00) and see how it reacts there. If it shows life and can bounce back, we still look at picking it up.
IRBT 05/06 Flag 20.24 -1.22 19.22 21.94 149K 220K 20.11
Current. Strong rebound early last week before turning back down Friday. Continued the move lower Tuesday before holding up with the 18 day EMA (20.05) support. Really would be nice if it could hold up at this point, forming a series of higher lows starting early May. Will see how it holds up Wednesday.
IWM 05/24 ABCD Up 64.24 -2.01 65.48 73.95 88M 100M 64.21
Current. Back down Tuesday, starting the week off in a rather unpleasant way. Is holding over a support level, but just barely keeping us in the play. Will have to make sure it can hold up for us Wednesday as we are minding the stop.
JCG 05/29 ABCD Up 44.33 -1.31 45.95 50.92 2M 2.4M 43.72
Entered today. Sold early but then reversed, starting to continue that Friday move higher. It was up then on a down market so we moved in. Could not hold the move this time, however. Now have to watch how it holds up for us Wednesday, and see if it stays in position to make a move higher for us.
JPM 05/22 Rolling 38.54 -1.04 39.60 46.44 38M 60M 37.42
Current. Turned down from the 18 day EMA (40.13) Friday, and then kept to the downside Tuesday. Not fun. Holding over our stop, though, so giving it a chance to slow up from this point. If it can begin to hold up then we can give it more time to work to the upside for us.
LOPE 05/26 Test 50 24.72 +0.16 26.31 29.94 301K 500K 24.29
Buy Not Issued. Well off its highs after moving over the 50 day EMA (24.98) and fading, but better than most others as it actually held a gain. As it is still working along over the May lows we can give it more time and see if it makes a press higher from this point.
LSCC 05/10 ABCD Up 4.75 -0.21 5.08 6.78 1.7M 3M 4.84
Current. Second day lower, giving up the 10 and 18 day EMA (4.87, 4.89) with this move. Also at a key support point with the April gap up point (4.84 open) and early May low (4.73). This is really where we want LSCC to hold, though it did bounce up from the 50 day EMA (4.56) for us last week. If it does slide back to that moving average, have to see life there to keep us in the play.
MLHR 05/21 ABCD Up 19.09 -0.14 19.51 22.48 618K 640K 18.14
Buy Not Issued. Up and down intraday before settling to close with a doji Tuesday. Not able to make any headway, but did hold up pretty decently for us so we give it more time to make a move out of this D point in the pattern. Still seeing if it takes that firm push higher that sticks to our buy point, and then we pick it up.
NEM 04/14 Flag 54.64 +0.82 55.48 62.95 11M 10M 55.22
Current. Yes a doji, finishing well off the intraday high, but not so sure it is the end of the move. Will be careful with it, but with gold moving higher this likely turns into more of a continuation move. Will see if it can do that to keep the play working for us.
NETL 05/19 Dbl btm 27.87 -0.90 28.98 34.89 941K 2M 26.95
Current. After a nice jump up to the 50 day EMA (29.18), NETL has started to fade back from that point. Closed well off the highs Tuesday to finish with a doji, and now have to see how it holds up from here. There is the early May low at this point to hold, but have to see if it can do that now. If not, we have to watch the stop.
NFLX 05/29 Flag 107.29 -3.86 111.89 122.00 2.3M 3.2M 108.39
Buy Not Hit. Cleared over the April and May peaks with a push higher Friday, but turned back down on us Tuesday. Still, holding up better than many, and still in great position for us. We just see how it fades to the 10 day EMA (105.17) and how it holds up there. If it can show life at that point and start back higher, we leave it alone.
NFLX 05/11 ABCD Up 107.29 -3.86 104.89 122.00 2.3M 3.2M 101.77
Current.
NTRI 05/17 Test BO 21.62 -0.63 22.28 28.89 407K 2M 20.48
Current. Nice start up late last week, but two days down and NTRI is back below the 18 day EMA (21.74). Not great action, but there is very good support down at the 50 day EMA (20.87) to use. Will see how the stock fades to there, and if it can bounce from that point as it did last week.
NVLS 05/24 Dbl btm 25.31 -0.51 25.21 28.95 3M 4M 23.45
Buy Not Issued. Turning lower off the Friday doji, now testing at the band of support around the 50 day EMA (25.04). Also have the 10 and 18 day EMA right at that level so would be a great place for NVLS to stick. If it can, we see how it bounces back up to give us a buy.
OSTK 05/19 ABCD Up 21.69 -0.81 23.01 26.48 255K 498K 21.40
Current. Started things nicely, but slid back to finish down on the day, below the 18 day EMA (22.19). Really not a move we like to see, but it is holding up at the B point in the pattern now so leaving it alone. Starting to toe the line, so OSTK does need to show life very soon, but we are giving it that chance Wednesday.
PII 05/24 Test 50 57.88 -0.82 59.65 67.92 633K 650K 55.47
Current. Not happy with this second day down, but holding up right near the 18 day EMA (58.10) for us. Would be great to see it hold at this point, but will not be surprised if it sinks to the 50 day EMA (56.31) before finding traction. Watching to see what it does now.
PNRA 05/27 Dbl btm 80.52 -0.31 80.78 88.54 345K 755K 77.54
Buy Not Issued. Not buying it, but pretty much identical to the Friday action with the close off the highs to show a doji. Not a great move normally, but held up nicely compared to most others. Now we see if it really can make the move higher from this point towards our buy, or if it starts to slip back and test a little first.
RMBS 05/22 Cup hdl 22.64 -0.80 24.71 27.98 2.4M 2.5M 22.54
Current. Tapped up at the 18 day EMA (23.71) and then turned right back down to finish back below the 50 day EMA (23.36). Pretty substantial move down, and leaving it on as it just barely held over the May lows. Getting to a key point near the stop, so now it has to start showing life to keep the play in check.
ROST 05/21 ABCD Up 52.67 +0.27 52.87 58.91 1.9M 3.2M 49.93
Current. Reached up to the 50 day EMA (53.30) before fading back, but this one did manage to hold a slight gain Tuesday. Still not the strongest action, but it did do what most stocks could not. So, we left it alone to see if it could break over the 50 day from here and start a move higher for us. Will see if it can now.
RTH 05/25 ABCD Up 96.33 -0.69 96.92 106.94 2.4M 3M 93.48
Buy Not Issued. Nothing new for this session as it tried to start on up but then rolled back to finish down with a doji. Still holding at a good level just over the D point of the pattern, but does have to stick the move higher before we pick it up. Will give it longer now and see if it does that.
SCSS 05/25 Pennant 10.71 -0.51 10.85 12.65 699K 900K 10.09
Current. Gap up to a doji Friday, and now a slide back down to start the week. Now the stock is settled at the early May peak (10.88), but it looks like it will continue on down to the 10 day EMA (10.41). If it does continue the slide to that point we just watch to see if it can show any life there.
SMTC 05/26 Test 20 17.21 -0.40 18.08 20.92 1.2M 1.2M 16.81
Buy Not Issued. Very volatile still after that huge Thursday gap and rollover. With this Tuesday turn down we are going to just drop it for now.
SNDK 05/25 Pennant 45.00 -1.62 45.45 49.89 11M 12M 42.34
Current. Side stepped Friday as it closed with a doji, and then a swing lower to start this week. Nothing too unexpected with this move, and now we see how it tests to the April high (44.61) and 10 day EMA (43.85). If it can stick to that support and start to bounce, we just leave it alone.
SNDK 04/29 Flag 45.00 -1.62 39.14 49.94 11M 13M 42.34
Current.
SNIC 05/10 Test 50 11.83 -0.06 12.36 14.44 191K 600K 11.91
Current. Off the intraday high, but a little bounce up off the lows kept this one in pretty decent shape. Really not a bad little pullback the past couple of sessions after gapping up Thursday, and we can see how it holds up over the 50 day EMA (11.38). Do have to keep in mind that this is a very key point, though, as SNIC tries to hold up.
SSO 05/25 Rolling 35.02 -1.22 36.04 40.65 29M 30M 35.11
Exited. With SP500 hitting the 38% Fibonacci retracement and the 200 day SMA on Friday and failing, then reversing again off a rally attempt Tuesday, we closed it.
SSYS 05/05 Rolling 22.68 -0.58 24.18 28.74 201K 265K 22.49
Current. Found the 10 day EMA (23.45) as resistance and faded away from that level again to start the week. This stock is holding up over a key support point with the February and May lows, but this is where it has to hold up Wednesday. As the stock did not bounce up off the lows any we are keeping an eye on it, and think it will make a move one way or the other in the next couple of days. Just watching which way it turns to see how we treat the play.
TEN 05/25 ABCD Up 21.64 -0.52 22.45 26.74 1.3M 2M 21.11
Current. Ran up to the 50 day EMA (22.81) last week and then turned down Friday. Gapped lower to start things Tuesday, bounced back up, then slid right back down to show a doji. Typical move for this Tuesday, and now seeing how it reacts Wednesday. If it can hold this range we leave it alone, but the 50 day is a key point for TEN to move over.
TJX 05/19 Dbl btm 45.27 -0.19 45.28 49.94 5.6M 7.5M 42.97
Current. Lower Friday, but then held up better than many Tuesday as it bounced up from the lows at the 18 day EMA (45.05). Looks pretty solid as it holds that line of support, so we just leave it alone to see if it can cling to it Wednesday. If it can, watching for it to take the bounce up from there in the next couple of days.
TRMB 05/27 ABCD Up 28.23 -0.50 29.50 33.55 770K 950K 27.56
Buy Not Hit. Faded away from the 50 day EMA (29.16) Friday, and then continued its descent to start this week. With that action we were not buying, and have to see if it can strengthen any now. Will see if it gets to the D point (27.65) and can hold and bounce back from that point.
TRN 05/26 ABCD Up 20.77 -1.08 21.66 26.98 931K 1.5M 20.14
Current. Slipped back below the 50 day EMA (21.97) Friday, and then kept on falling to start this week. Really don't like it as it tapped the 50 day on the high before fading, and now have to see how it holds up here at the B point of the pattern. Do have a little room to let it fade, but if it can't start to firm up we do have to mind the stop. Will see what it does now.
URI 05/24 ABCD Up 12.21 +0.06 12.23 14.69 2.4M 2.2M 11.44
Buy Not Issued. Tapped the 50 day EMA (11.65) on the low and bounced right back up. Finished off the highs, but this stock held key support on the low and actually bounced back to finish in the green. Better than many others, and it can still start a swing higher from this level. Looking better than many others, so now giving it more time to show us the upside push we need for a buy.
WRLD 05/20 ABCD Up 34.69 -1.04 37.18 44.89 359K 500K 34.33
Current. Gave up the 50 day EMA (36.55) Friday, and then kept falling to start this week. Another stock that wasn't great, but did hold the support level it needed to (in this case, the April and late May lows). So we left it to see if it keeps to this level Wednesday. If it does that we watch it longer for a bounce back.

Current. Finished last week with a doji, and then started right back lower Tuesday. Volume up just over average with this move, but it is still well clear of the 50 day EMA (28.12). As it held that support nicely for a couple weeks we see how it does at that level this time around.

CVS 05/29 BearFla 34.34 -0.29 34.33 30.65 12M 12M 35.11
Buy Not Issued. Short gap down, showing a big doji under the 200 day SMA (34.54). Still looking to play the move down if CVS can fail here, so getting ready for it Wednesday.
GYMB 05/11 BearFla 43.93 -0.65 44.28 39.05 721K 1.2M 45.72
Buy Not Issued. Gapped down, tested up to the 200 day SMA (45.43), and then got knocked back to show a doji. A nice move for the downside, but we have seen this before. Still hasn't moved down below the late May lows at 43.50ish, though, so can't buy as it is holding that level. Maybe if it can break below there, we buy it as it tests back up and fails.
LUFK 05/11 BearFla 79.21 -0.52 78.48 71.73 354K 245K 78.88
Current. Not bad as it showed a doji under the 50 day EMA (80.05), and was also well off the intraday high. Still, saw many others with better moves down Tuesday. Will see if it breaks down from this point Wednesday, or if it just hovers at this level.
PCLN 05/29 BearFla 185.01 -6.15 189.64 177.65 1.5M 1.9M 194.11
Entered today. Continued the Friday rollover, moving away from the 10 day EMA (195.30). As it did that, we picked it up and now just see how it continues from here.
SPY 05/29 BearFla 107.53 -1.84 108.64 104.45 277M 310M 110.82
Entered today. Gapped lower but then reversed to move higher. It failed below the 200 day SMA (110.51) and 38% Fibonacci retracement off its recent low so entered it to the downside and sold the SSO position.
TEX 05/29 HdShldr 21.25 -0.51 23.54 18.44 3.1M 2.7M 24.11
Buy Not Hit. Gapped nicely lower to the 200 day SMA (21.09), bounced back intraday, and then rolled back to show a doji. Nice action, but do need it to bounce back up for us. If it can get up closer to the 50 day EMA (23.51) and fail, we have a much better entry point. Will see if we get that.
