Upside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 07/08 Rolling 263.95 +3.12 138.55 149.91 25M 23M 255.11
Current. Gapped higher and filled the gap intraday. It is still at the 78% Fibonacci retracement and we are still watching how it plays out at this level and if our near term downside play comes into play so to speak.

AAPL 04/15 Test 20 263.95 +3.12 119.69 132.77 25M 25M 255.11
Current.

AKAM 05/06 Flag 41.27 +1.77 38.14 44.75 4.4M 4.5M 38.74
Current. All during the selloff AKAM was a relative strength leader and on Wednesday it was up and on rising, above average volume as it moved to a new closing high on this rally. Not a new high, but a new closing high as it continues is strong trend.

AKAM 04/05 Flat 41.27 +1.77 32.84 39.89 4.4M 4.5M 38.74
Current.

ARO 05/22 Test 20 28.39 +0.93 28.88 33.44 4.4M 3M 26.86
Buy Not Issued. Looks to be massing at the border with a couple of sharply higher volume sessions the past two days as the range narrows. Looks ready to make the break upside.

BID 05/27 ABCD Up 32.05 +1.45 32.77 38.91 1.4M 2.2M 30.48
Buy Not Issued. Came back from the Tuesday selling and is at the 50 day EMA, still in position to continue the move. Need to see the break on some solid volume and want to see it holding the move into the close.

BIDU 05/29 Flag 75.98 +2.42 75.11 82.11 9.4M 20M 71.98
Current. Out in the lead once more as BIDU fills the modest gap lower from early May as it continues its run toward those prior highs.

BIDU 05/17 Flag 75.98 +2.42 71.16 84.89 9.4M 20M 70.74
Current.

CHCI 05/13 ABCD Up 1.96 -0.12 2.81 3.95 154K 600K 2.39
Current. Struggled on the pending home sales and mortgage application data, slipping below the 50 day EMA but not in major danger. Of course it needs to recover the 50 day quickly to show it is still in a positive build.

CME 05/03 Flag 322.92 +11.29 328.77 357.55 730K 950K 317.11
Current. Nice surge on better, average volume, but it still did not get CME out of its range that shows a top at 325. Really need to see it make the break over that level on this run higher. That will show it has some legs to try that May peak.

CMG 05/10 Flag 147.61 +6.36 138.71 158.42 778K 775K 135.98
Current. Nice. Strong shot of above average volume as CMG breaks to a new closing high on this run. Not just this run, but the entire move up from the bear market low. What to do? Let it run.

CMG 01/26 Test BO 147.61 +6.36 98.45 110.00 778K 550K 135.98
Current.

CSTR 05/22 Flag 55.06 +2.04 54.66 61.94 1.2M 1.8M 51.08
Current. After two days lower a nice bounce on better trade though still in the range of the past week. Nice setup to make a new run higher.

DLTR 05/29 PreSplt 62.03 +0.34 62.89 67.75 1.2M 1.6M 61.65
Buy Not Hit. Nice doji with tail at the 18 day EMA that looks to be the end of a weeklong pullback to near support. Nice setup for the bounce.

DNDN 01/21 ABCD Up 43.16 +0.75 29.54 33.48 3.7M 3M 46.72
Current. Bouncing laterally along the 50 day EMA, still trying to get the guts to move higher. Will give it some more time as it is not in any real danger.

EAT 05/27 Dbl btm 17.70 +0.42 18.12 20.81 879K 2.5M 16.85
Buy Not Hit. Still in the pattern with a potential higher low with the Wednesday action. Just waiting for a break higher on some strong trade with a move that can stick to the close.

ECPG 05/04 Test BO 20.30 +0.16 21.28 25.94 138K 245K 20.48
Current. Bumping along the 50 day EMA on low, below average volume. Note how ECPG is sitting on top of the December peaks; still holding a key level and tightening up its range.

EXBD 05/07 Flag 31.12 +0.50 32.44 37.94 216K 425K 30.11
Current. Now down at the bottom of a 5 week trading range that is consolidating the sharp upside break to start May. No danger, just a bit frustrating. It should roll higher here but it did not really power upside given the move in the rest of the market.

FCX 05/25 Rolling 69.02 +2.53 69.21 78.92 12M 20M 65.88
Current. Bouncing off the February and early May lows, and could be forming that right shoulder to an inverse head and shoulders pattern started in early May.

GLD 05/24 Test 18 119.78 -0.13 117.32 122.24 10M 38M 116.89
Current. Gold was down on the session but GLD held well, tapping the 10 day EMA on the low and rebounding to hold above the late 2009 closing high. That is an important take away for GLD as it attempts to hold its recent rally higher on the fear trade. Still in good shape and not really worried about its overall position right now given the action at the 2009 peak.

GS 05/26 Trnd Rv 144.83 +2.97 143.81 160.42 7.7M 20M 139.89
Current. Trying to put in a higher low here and something of a right shoulder to its own inverse head and shoulders pattern formed starting early May. Again, these often form after a sharp selloff as the initial attempt of the stock to bottom and start back upside.

ILMN 05/11 ABCD Up 42.93 +1.44 42.74 47.95 1.4M 2M 39.86
Entered today. Solid trade as ILMN broke higher and held that trade into the close.

IRBT 05/06 Flag 21.36 +1.12 19.22 21.94 118K 220K 20.11
Current. Tapped the 18 day EMA on the low and bounced positive. Not much trade but looks to be making a higher low as it takes on the peaks from early and late May. Still in good position to do just that and be successful in the attempt.

IWM 05/24 ABCD Up 66.07 +1.83 65.48 73.95 61M 100M 64.21
Current. Trying to put in a higher low at the January high, selling to that level Tuesday and then rebounding off of it on Wednesday. Small caps remain in solid position and so we are letting this play test and bounce.

JCG 05/29 ABCD Up 45.51 +1.18 45.95 50.92 1.6M 2.4M 43.72
Current. Back up Wednesday after a quick dip to start the week. Good bounce from last week off the 200 day SMA and after that one-day hiatus it looks as if JCG is going to try a new aggressive move higher.

JPM 05/22 Rolling 39.55 +1.01 39.60 46.44 40M 60M 37.42
Current. Time to show us something as it attempts a higher low off of the strong support level.

LNCR 06/01 PreSplt 48.71 +2.05 48.19 53.95 1.5M 1M 44.94
Entered today. Nice break higher on strong trade, posting a new rally high in the process.

LOPE 05/26 Test 50 25.04 +0.32 26.31 29.94 277K 500K 24.29
Buy Not Issued. Will watch but dropping for now.

LSCC 05/10 ABCD Up 5.01 +0.26 5.08 6.78 2.6M 3M 4.84
Current. Good volume as LSCC posted a decent comeback from the Tuesday selling. Still nicely positioned to move higher.

MLHR 05/21 ABCD Up 19.50 +0.41 19.51 22.48 272K 640K 18.14
Buy Not Issued. Pretty decent action but still below the 50 day EMA and moving on low volume Wednesday. Weill be patient and see if it can really show a break upside versus this sideways walk.

NEM 04/14 Flag 55.71 +1.07 55.48 62.95 7.1M 10M 55.22
Current. Even with gold losing some ground NEM was up as the fear trade subsides and worries of inflation again emerge. Inflation is the real gold price driver right now. Safety yes, but safety from inflation more than safety from a big economic collapse.

NETL 05/19 Dbl btm 29.41 +1.54 28.98 34.89 922K 2M 27.53
Current. Looks like a nice higher low here as NETL moves through the 50 day EMA on the close. Like the looks of this.

NFLX 05/29 Flag 110.78 +3.49 111.89 122.00 2.6M 3.2M 108.39
Buy Not Hit. Reached lower intraday but checked up above the 18 day EMA and reversed for a gain on rising trade. Setup to move higher and if it does move on through the buy point we can pick up some more positions.

NFLX 05/11 ABCD Up 110.78 +3.49 104.89 122.00 2.6M 3.2M 102.77
Current.

NTRI 05/17 Test BO 22.21 +0.59 22.28 28.89 507K 2M 20.48
Current. Really like this action even though it came back for another test toward the merging 50 and 200 day MA. Held and bounced on Wednesday, using some rising volume. Still in position to move well.

NVLS 05/24 Dbl btm 26.12 +0.81 25.21 28.95 2.5M 4M 23.45
Buy Not Issued. Not bad action at all and looking to move in as NVLS continues higher off of what is now a handle to this double bottom.

OSIS 06/01 DB hdl 26.10 +0.33 26.68 31.55 221K 275K 25.48
Buy Not Hit. Nice handle continues to form, holding at the 18 day EMA Wednesday and bouncing positive on the close. Very solid and looks ready to make the break upside.

OSTK 05/19 ABCD Up 22.21 +0.52 23.01 26.48 171K 498K 21.40
Current. Holding at support, tapping it on the low and bouncing, holding the April peak as it did. Still in position to make the break upside.

PII 05/24 Test 50 60.06 +2.18 59.65 67.92 422K 650K 56.08
Current. Solid action bouncing back off the Friday and Tuesday test, putting in a higher low. Really looks ready to go ballistic, so to speak.

PNRA 05/27 Dbl btm 82.34 +1.82 81.58 88.54 379K 755K 77.54
Entered today. The bread was rising so we took some positions looking to make some dough. I know, I know, a pathetic attempt at bread humor.

RMBS 05/22 Cup hdl 23.44 +0.80 24.71 27.98 1.9M 2.5M 22.54
Current. Trying to recover from the news about one of its patent lawsuits getting delayed. Giving it some time.

ROST 05/21 ABCD Up 54.40 +1.73 52.87 58.91 2.1M 3.2M 51.64
Current. Nice break higher off of something of a reverse head and shoulders pattern. Finally got that surge through the 50 day EMA.

RTH 05/25 ABCD Up 97.87 +1.56 98.18 106.94 796K 3M 95.42
Buy Not Issued. Higher low in process and we might get a buy out of RTH as it sets up for an upside move.

SCSS 05/25 Pennant 10.59 -0.12 10.85 12.65 684K 900K 10.09
Current. Nice higher low with an intraday test at the 18 day EMA and a recovery to flat. This follows a strong break higher last week when much of the market was getting hit. Thus SCSS can take its own time and manner of resting and testing.

SNDK 05/25 Pennant 46.43 +1.43 45.45 49.89 11M 12M 42.92
Current. Solid action, working laterally after the break higher last Thursday. Tested and now it looks ready to move higher and continue its impressive run.

SNDK 04/29 Flag 46.43 +1.43 39.14 49.94 11M 13M 42.92
Current.

SNIC 05/10 Test 50 10.71 -1.12 12.36 14.44 2.8M 600K 11.91
Current. Gapped lower, not giving us a lot to work with. SNIC did bounce off its low where it found support in early and late May. Given that we left it to see if it can recover the gap. The reason: it is acquiring DivX and the acquirer often sells on the news of an acquisition involving stock.

SSYS 05/05 Rolling 23.35 +0.67 24.18 28.74 180K 265K 22.49
Current. Still waiting for SSYS to get off the bottom of this support range and give us a move. As long as it is holding support we will give it some room, but we would like to see it over 24 with some volume before too long.

TEN 05/25 ABCD Up 23.12 +1.48 22.45 26.74 1.5M 2M 21.11
Current. After a two-day dip following the strong run off the 200 day SMA, TEN was up and on stronger, above average volume Wednesday. Looks ready to make the move we were looking for.

TJX 05/19 Dbl btm 46.12 +0.85 45.28 49.94 5.8M 7.5M 42.97
Current. Two-day test, a tap at the 50 day EMA on the Wednesday low and then a reversal to positive on stronger, above average volume. Looks locked and loaded.

TRMB 05/27 ABCD Up 29.00 +0.77 29.50 33.55 523K 950K 27.56
Buy Not Hit. Still waiting for the break higher and a hold toward the close to trigger our entry. It will either show us the move or not.

TRN 05/26 ABCD Up 21.63 +0.86 21.66 26.98 543K 1.5M 20.14
Current. Another stock showing the 2-day pullback and rebound on Wednesday. Volume was not ramping up for TRN, however. Want to see it clear that recent closing high at 22.36 to give us some confidence it can make the move we are looking for.

URI 05/24 ABCD Up 12.62 +0.41 12.23 14.69 1.1M 2.2M 11.44
Buy Not Issued. No volume but it was up past the buy point Wednesday. If it can continue the move then we will look to add some positions but would like to see more volume.

WRLD 05/20 ABCD Up 35.87 +1.18 37.18 44.89 175K 500K 34.33
Current. WRLD is not showing us the move we anticipated after that strong break higher off the bottom of the 13 week base. Still on the upside of the bottom of the pattern, however, so we are looking for it to continue higher as it continues the work on its rather nicely formed base.

WSM 04/02 Flag 28.69 0.00 27.43 32.74 1.9M 2.8M 28.74
Current. Doji at the 50 day EMA as WSM continues its 6 week lateral range. Great relative strength, but we now want to see a great relative upside move.

WYNN 06/01 ABCD Up 83.19 +1.66 83.02 92.94 2.4M 3.6M 80.48
Entered today. Bounced off the 50 day EMA test and we moved in.

Downside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 06/01 Dbl Top 263.95 +3.12 260.68 239.11 25M 34M 266.44
Buy Not Hit. Still at the 78% Fibonacci retracement and we will be on the watch for a rollover though the market looks, for the day, as if it wants to bounce higher before a more significant selloff.

CVS 05/29 BearFla 35.20 +0.86 34.33 30.65 12M 12M 35.11
Buy Not Issued. Bouncing through the 200 day SMA. May not give us the move. Will watch it and see how it handles the 50 day EMA it is about to run into.

GYMB 05/11 BearFla 44.47 +0.54 44.28 39.05 702K 1.2M 45.72
Buy Not Issued. Continues its 4 week lateral move below the 200 day SMA, but that is starting to turn positive and the downside is not as solid a bet.

LUFK 05/11 BearFla 40.67 +1.06 78.48 71.73 480K 245K 78.88
Exited. Held the 50 day EMA and bounced so we closed it out.

PCLN 05/29 BearFla 189.83 +4.82 189.64 177.65 1.6M 1.9M 194.11
Current. Modest bounce after the sharp selling. Still under key resistance at 194ish and want to see it fail at that point

SPY 05/29 BearFla 110.33 +2.80 108.64 104.45 241M 310M 110.82
Current. Of course a bounce up toward the 200 day SMA. Lower trade. Will see what it does at that point

TEX 05/29 HdShldr 22.01 +0.76 23.54 18.44 2.7M 2.7M 24.11
Buy Not Hit. Maybe now we get the bounce up to the January peak and then we see if it turns over and head back down from there, continuing the rollover from May.

WBMD 06/02 BearFla 46.31 +1.78 44.42 40.36 193K 500K 45.94
Buy Not Issued. More upside strength than anticipated as WBMD clears the 50 day EMA and holds that move on the close.

ZMH 06/02 BearFla 55.10 +0.93 54.05 50.46 1.6M 2.5M 55.48
Buy Not Issued. Bounced but on low trade. Will see how it handles the 10 day EMA at 55.83 and see if it turns back down from there. We will adjust the buy point as needed.
