Upside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 07/08 Rolling 255.96 -7.15 138.55 149.91 27M 23M 255.11
Current. Gapped down from the 78% Fibonacci retracement of the selloff then failed an intraday test. Managed to hold the 10 day EMA, but moved into some downside positions as shown in the downside plays. Still hanging onto the upside stock; have plenty of gain in those.

AAPL 04/15 Test 20 255.96 -7.15 119.69 132.77 27M 25M 255.11
Current.

AKAM 05/06 Flag 41.90 -1.18 38.14 44.75 6.2M 4.5M 39.22
Current. Gapped down Friday after that sweet upside breakout Thursday. That move took it to the top of its more recent channel. Didn't give all that Thursday gain back and still looking for AKAM, a survivor in all the selling, to continue moving higher in this channel.

AKAM 04/05 Flat 41.90 -1.18 32.84 39.89 6.2M 4.5M 39.22
Current.

AKS 06/02 Rev HS 13.34 -1.14 15.23 19.31 15M 14M 14.03
Buy Not Hit. Dropping for now but will watch to see if it holds the mid-May low and bounces again.

ARO 05/22 Test 20 28.78 -1.23 28.88 33.44 2.9M 3M 26.86
Buy Not Issued. One of the stocks cited in the Summary that is giving us a good shot at an entry after gapping away on Thursday. Nice low volume on the pullback. Looking for a hold and a bounce to give us the entry point.

BID 05/27 ABCD Up 30.27 -2.18 32.77 38.91 1.7M 2.2M 30.48
Buy Not Issued. Dropping for now but will keep an eye on it.

BIDU 05/29 Flag 73.20 -3.46 75.11 82.11 9.2M 20M 71.98
Current. Fell back of course in the market selling, but held the 10 day EMA and this is nothing to indicate a turn back in the uptrend.

BIDU 05/17 Flag 73.20 -3.46 71.16 84.89 9.2M 20M 71.54
Current.

CHCI 05/13 ABCD Up 1.96 -0.08 2.81 3.95 151K 600K 2.39
Current. Still trading around the 50 day EMA as it has for the past 2 weeks. Set up to make the upside move; just needs to show it.

CME 05/03 Flag 310.64 -12.85 328.77 357.55 634K 950K 317.11
Current. Gapped up to the top of the near range Thursday then gapped down and sold to the 200 day SMA and the bottom of that range Friday. As with the indices, still trading in the near range and looking for it to rebound.

CMG 05/10 Flag 143.81 -5.09 138.71 158.42 1M 775K 139.21
Current. No surprise with a bit of a decline Friday, but only to the 10 day EMA in the continuing uptrend and not changing the overall picture.

CMG 01/26 Test BO 143.81 -5.09 98.45 110.00 1M 550K 139.21
Current.

CSTR 05/22 Flag 54.41 -3.42 54.66 61.94 2.1M 1.8M 52.42
Current. Gapped lower and sold to the 10 day EMA on the close. Still a continuing uptrend and no change in the overall schema.

DLTR 05/29 PreSplt 60.94 -1.52 60.57 67.75 1.3M 1.6M 59.78
Buy Not Hit. Moving down toward the 50 day EMA, the same level it tested in the flash crash and the subsequent test. That means the uptrend is still in place and on a bounce up off the 50 day EMA (60.00) it is in position to buy.

DNDN 01/21 ABCD Up 40.84 -2.53 29.54 33.48 5.4M 3M 46.72
Current. Slipped through the 50 day EMA Friday, but still over the mid-May low. Given the gutting on Friday in the market, this was not that bad and giving it the chance to recover.

EAT 05/27 Dbl btm 17.19 -0.66 17.57 20.81 1.8M 2.5M 16.85
Buy Not Hit. Moved the buy point as EAT faded Friday toward the May lows. A bounce off this pullback on some volume sets up EAT for a bounce up to the prior highs and an 18+% stock gain.

ECPG 05/04 Test BO 19.19 -1.30 21.28 25.94 155K 245K 20.48
Exited.

EXBD 05/07 Flag 29.67 -1.87 32.44 37.94 278K 425K 30.11
Current. Gapped and sold down to the 50 day EMA. This is where it needs to hold and give us a bounce.

FCX 05/25 Rolling 62.81 -3.36 69.21 78.92 15M 20M 65.88
Current. Gapped down from that potential right shoulder to the inverse head and shoulders, falling to support, matching the May low. As it held support on Friday we will see if it can bounce to start next week.

GLD 05/24 Test 18 119.19 +1.23 117.32 122.24 17M 38M 116.89
Current. Gold rebounded off the pullback, overtaking the late 2009 high, and GLD surged back up as well on solid volume.

GS 05/26 Trnd Rv 142.25 -1.79 143.81 160.42 15M 20M 139.89
Current. In all the Friday carnage GS was rather quiet, holding its tight range at a higher low. Very important stock holding up very well.

ICON 06/02 ABCD Up 15.65 -0.68 16.89 19.22 579K 875K 15.71
Buy Not Hit. Gapped lower, still above the prior lows in May, so we will watch and see what it does.

ILMN 05/11 ABCD Up 41.60 -1.81 42.74 47.95 1.2M 2M 41.05
Current. Gapped lower to the 18 day EMA, still in solid position to continue the move upside, i.e. continuing the May gap higher.

IRBT 05/06 Flag 19.70 -1.85 19.22 21.94 164K 220K 20.11
Current. Struggled Friday with a slightly higher volume selloff, but it is still trending higher after that big gap upside in early May. Looking for IRBT to hold near this level and move back up, continuing the trend.

IWM 05/24 ABCD Up 63.56 -3.36 65.48 73.95 106M 100M 64.21
Current. Gapped down but managed to hold the 200 day SMA on the close. We now see if the small caps return upside and again show upside leadership.

JCG 05/29 ABCD Up 42.44 -3.18 45.95 50.92 2.4M 2.4M 43.72
Exited.

JOYG 06/02 Rev HS 50.71 -3.10 52.87 60.95 5.8M 3.8M 49.17
Buy Not Issued. Maybe Joy gives us another opportunity to enter after gapping higher Thursday then gapping lower Friday. It gapped out of that reverse head and shoulders, gave it up Friday, but if it holds it is still in position to make a new break upside.

JPM 05/22 Rolling 37.62 -1.48 39.60 46.44 53M 60M 37.42
Current. Gapped downside after making a higher low last week and starting to rally back up. Now it is back to the drawing board as JP is at the February low and the May low once again, an important support level.

LNCR 06/01 PreSplt 47.39 -1.51 48.19 53.95 1.7M 1M 46.18
Current. Sold Friday, of course, and on some strong volume. Good upside break on strong volume last week, and this Friday selling in sympathy with the market did not alter the move.

LSCC 05/10 ABCD Up 4.60 -0.38 5.08 6.78 1.9M 3M 4.84
Current. Familiar story, caught in the selling Friday, fading to the 50 day EMA support and the gap point. Still positive pattern, and if it is going upside still it will bounce off this level.

MLHR 05/21 ABCD Up 18.36 -1.15 19.51 22.48 579K 640K 18.14
Buy Not Issued. Dropping.

MRVL 06/02 Test 20 18.81 -0.71 19.74 22.55 10M 18M 18.36
Buy Not Issued. Still in the pattern despite the Friday selling. Low volume on that pullback as MRVL shows solid relative strength. Looking for MRVL to hold and deliver the upside break and the buy point.

NEM 04/14 Flag 53.72 -0.61 55.48 62.95 8.1M 10M 55.22
Current. Gold was up but it could not pull NEM higher Friday. Still, NEM managed to hold the 50 day EMA, and a hold here makes a higher low. Should do it with gold's strength.

NETL 05/19 Dbl btm 27.71 -1.41 28.98 34.89 1.1M 2M 27.53
Current. Gapped lower from the 50 day EMA NETL rallied to last week. Lower low but still a solid pattern. This is where it needs to hold.

NFLX 05/29 Flag 109.78 -2.07 111.89 122.00 3.1M 3.2M 108.39
Buy Not Issued. Despite the selling Friday NFLX surged higher. Unfortunately it did not hold the move. On the other hand NFLX is looking super, holding the 10 day EMA on a continued trend higher.

NFLX 05/11 ABCD Up 109.78 -2.07 104.89 122.00 3.1M 3.2M 102.77
Current.

NTRI 05/17 Test BO 21.18 -1.27 22.28 28.89 563K 2M 20.48
Current. Well, NTRI was bouncing nicely Wednesday to Thursday, then the Friday selling took it back to the 200 day SMA. Still in the pattern, just needs to hold and show something to the upside.

NVLS 05/24 Dbl btm 25.66 -1.03 25.21 28.95 2.8M 4M 23.45
Buy Not Issued. This could give us the buy after that Thursday surge, gapping lower Friday and closing at the 10 day EMA. Still an excellent pattern, and again, this pullback could give us the buy.

OSIS 06/01 DB hdl 25.78 -0.65 26.68 31.55 263K 275K 25.48
Buy Not Hit. Down Friday, but excellent relative strength, holding the 18 day EMA on the close. Still in great shape to make the breakout.

OSTK 05/19 ABCD Up 21.04 -2.14 23.01 26.48 338K 498K 21.40
Current. Was looking great with respect to an important move through Thursday, then the Friday selling took it back to the April high and now it starts anew again with the attempt at moving higher.

PAY 06/02 Flag 19.07 -1.08 20.22 23.45 1.6M 2M 19.10
Buy Not Issued. Gapped lower Friday, but held near the 10 and 18 day EMA and is still in the pattern, a flag or handle off a short double bottom at the 200 day SMA during May. Used the May selling to its benefit and we will continue to watch for a breakout move.

PII 05/24 Test 50 57.50 -2.52 59.65 67.92 434K 650K 56.08
Current. Another stock with another gap lower Friday, but still in the pattern overall and after a tough day looking for PII to hold the 50 day EMA again as well as its trend and bounce again to the upside.

PNRA 05/27 Dbl btm 80.69 -1.85 81.58 88.54 498K 755K 77.54
Current. Tested back to the 10 day EMA Friday after a break higher Wednesday and Thursday. Still a nice pattern.

RMBS 05/22 Cup hdl 22.55 -1.03 24.71 27.98 1.5M 2.5M 22.54
Current. Still struggling to recover from that news re its patent lawsuit over a week back. Is holding the bottom of the recent range. Needs to hold this early next week; may get a bit further test then an intraday reversal.

ROST 05/21 ABCD Up 54.63 -1.56 52.87 58.91 2.5M 3.2M 52.21
Current. Eased back Friday after the big Thursday surge and indeed a solid Wednesday as well. Filling the small gap and not in bad shape and indeed likely setting up for us if you are not already in.

RTH 05/25 ABCD Up 93.98 -3.72 98.18 106.94 3.6M 3M 95.42
Buy Not Issued. Dropping.

SCSS 05/25 Pennant 9.75 -0.74 10.85 12.65 728K 900K 10.09
Current. Gapped lower from the 18 day EMA test, but managed to hold the 50 day EMA on the Friday close. Not the most comfortable scenario or the one we wanted with this test, but not death either. Will see if it can jump off the 50 day EM, and with the pattern, it should.

SNDK 05/25 Pennant 44.88 -2.22 45.45 49.89 13M 12M 42.92
Current. Down on Friday; no surprise there, but it is holding nicely at the 10 day EMA and still holding the breakout over the April to May consolidation.

SNDK 04/29 Flag 44.88 -2.22 39.14 49.94 13M 13M 42.92
Current.

SNIC 05/10 Test 50 9.69 -0.70 12.36 14.44 857K 600K 11.91
Exited.

SSYS 05/05 Rolling 23.10 -0.82 24.18 28.74 179K 265K 22.49
Current. Trading in that tight, narrow range for the past two weeks. Being very sticky so letting it work through this consolidation and looking for that upside breakout.

TEN 05/25 ABCD Up 21.78 -2.43 22.45 26.74 1.9M 2M 21.44
Current. Gave back the Wednesday and Thursday solid upside moves in just one session. Holding above last week's low so left it, but TEN needs to hold the line here one way or the other. A bad day but it did not kill the play.

TJX 05/19 Dbl btm 44.49 -1.81 45.28 49.94 5.2M 7.5M 44.64
Current. Gapped lower and closed just below the 50 day EMA. Not great action for TJX after a good reaction to the same store sales data Thursday. This is the lick log where TJX needs to make the rebound.

TRMB 05/27 ABCD Up 28.28 -1.05 29.50 33.55 771K 950K 27.56
Buy Not Hit. Rallied up to the 50 day EMA through Thursday but turned over on stronger, above average volume. In the range of the last week and will see if it holds and makes the break higher.

TRN 05/26 ABCD Up 20.43 -1.35 21.66 26.98 1.1M 1.5M 20.14
Current. Trans were not rolling the right direction Friday. TRN rallied to the 50 day EMA through Thursday then gapped down from there on rising, average volume. Still a good pattern but don't want it coming back to the 200 day SMA that marked the D point in the pattern.

URI 05/24 ABCD Up 11.65 -0.90 12.23 14.69 1.6M 2.2M 11.44
Buy Not Issued. Slipped to the 50 day EMA Friday. That is not bad action and we can simply wait and let URI bounce higher off this support and show us the buy if it is going to do it.

WRLD 05/20 ABCD Up 34.52 -1.74 37.18 44.89 212K 500K 34.33
Current. WRLD continues bouncing up and down in its three week range, coming back to the bottom of the range Friday. Still a nice consolidation, just not the strong upside break it looked ready to make when we moved in just over a week back.

WSM 04/02 Flag 27.46 -1.34 27.43 32.74 4.5M 2.8M 28.74
Current. Gapped below the 50 day EMA Friday after a very nice two week lateral consolidation above that level. Giving it a day to make a positive move and come back over the 50 day EMA.

WYNN 06/01 ABCD Up 79.81 -4.35 83.02 92.94 3.1M 3.6M 80.48
Current. Slipped below the 50 day EMA Friday after running higher intraday. Looked to be a great recover off the gap lower, but as the market weakened in the afternoon again WYNN did the same. Still in the pattern but it is at the point it needs to buck up and hold the test.

Downside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 06/01 Dbl Top 255.96 -7.15 255.88 239.11 27M 34M 265.78
Entered today. Gapped lower from the 78% Fibonacci double top so went into the position on a modest intraday bounce.

CVS 05/29 BearFla 33.79 -1.27 33.80 30.65 12M 12M 35.11
Entered today. Broke through the Up trendline from late November and on rising, above average volume. Good enough to enter after that lower high.

GYMB 05/11 BearFla 42.88 -1.69 44.28 39.05 750K 1.2M 45.72
Gapped lower Friday after a month of holding just below the 200 day SMA. May finally be the start of the move.

PCLN 05/29 BearFla 178.54 -6.57 189.64 177.65 1.8M 1.9M 185.32
Current. Started lower Tuesday and then worked its way lower Thursday and Friday, though Friday PCLN tried to make the reversal. That failed at the 10 day EMA and it closed at the low. Looking for another good push lower to ramp up the put option values so we can take a good gain.

SPY 05/29 BearFla 106.82 -3.89 108.64 104.45 398M 310M 108.78
Current. Of course a sharp turn lower Friday after SPY rallied up to the 200 day SMA through Thursday.

TEX 05/29 HdShldr 20.95 -1.65 20.81 17.44 3.1M 2.7M 22.58
Buy Not Hit. Changed up the buy point as TEX never made it to the January peak as we were looking for before entering. The higher volume move lower makes us look to enter as TEX continues to the downside.

ZMH 06/02 BearFla 53.18 -2.05 54.05 50.46 2.6M 2.5M 55.11
Broke lower Friday on rising, above average volume. On Monday ZMH likely bounces up a bit to test the move and if it hits near 54ish and fails that is a very good entry point.
