Upside Plays
Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AAPL 07/08 Rolling 270.97 -2.88 138.55 149.91 27M 23M 262.88
Current. Short step lower Wednesday, keeping things in check with a modest bounce up from the intraday lows. Pretty easy testing still, and the stock continues to hold on over the April highs. It is just fine if it can stick in this range, and then maybe get a boost from the rising 10 day EMA (266.27).

AAPL 04/15 Test 20 270.97 -2.88 119.69 132.77 27M 25M 262.88
Current.

AKAM 05/06 Flag 45.30 +0.95 38.14 44.75 4.7M 4.5M 42.11
Current. Nice test and recovery, finishing things positive Wednesday. After testing for two days, AKAM showed good strength as it reacted nicely off the lows at the 18 day EMA (43.32). Stronger volume showed up as well, so the stock may be ready for more upside. We will see.

AKAM 04/05 Flat 45.30 +0.95 32.84 39.89 4.7M 4.5M 42.11
Current.

ARO 05/22 Test 20 29.88 +0.54 29.18 33.44 2.5M 3M 28.97
Current. Controlled pullback the past week and held nicely at the 50 day EMA (28.87). Great reaction Wednesday as it bumped firmly higher. This is what you want to see, so now we can see how far this bounce carries the stock.

ASH 06/11 Trnd Rv 54.27 +0.10 56.34 63.94 872K 2M 52.68
Current. Gapped and rolled Monday, slipped Tuesday, but held flat Wednesday. Nice bounce off the lows, and good action with this doji at the 50 day EMA (54.14) support. Looks set to turn, now just seeing if it does.

BIDU 06/10 Test 50 76.19 +0.51 72.46 83.94 9.9M 18M 71.22
Current. Not bad. Filled that little Monday gap and snapped back up nicely to finish with a doji. Nice tap at the 10 day EMA (74.45) with the low as well before bouncing, and this is a good sign. Now we see if it can start up again.

CAGC 06/11 Rolling 11.99 -0.10 12.70 15.42 533K 1.4M 11.88
Current. Well this will do for now. It bounced off the intraday low to form a doji, and may start to form a sort of inverted head and shoulders now. Will see if it can bounce up off this doji to form that right shoulder and get going again.

CI 06/08 DB hdl 33.95 -0.26 34.44 39.91 3.2M 5M 33.91
Current. Big drop Tuesday to the 50 day EMA (34.08), and then closed below it Wednesday. It is hanging on, but needs to recover the 50 day to keep us in the play. If it continues to weaken, this one is in danger.

CLF 06/16 DB hdl 56.30 +0.42 58.28 69.94 5.9M 10M 54.31
Buy Not Issued. Down for two days, but now a nice bounce off the lows to form a doji over the 10 and 18 day EMA (55.88, 55.36). If we get some upside that sticks to our buy point then we look at picking it up.

CMG 05/10 Flag 147.30 +2.15 138.71 158.42 779K 775K 144.54
Current. Two days down, but bounced back for us Wednesday, holding a nice gain. Still has to move up through the 10 day EMA (148.50), but this one held the short May/June up trendline. It looks like it can keep it going Thursday, but we will see.

CMG 01/26 Test BO 147.30 +2.15 98.45 110.00 779K 550K 144.54
Current.

CMI 06/10 Pennant 73.15 +0.94 71.98 81.44 2.4M 4M 71.08
Current. Not a bad test and recovery off the lows, holding the 10 day EMA (72.58) with the doji. Nice action on the session, and this is yet another stock that reacted nicely at support. Will give it a chance to bounce Thursday, but we will see.

DECK 06/23 Test BO 157.76 +0.79 157.58 174.91 596K 700K 149.92
Entered today. Down for two sessions, and then a long intraday reach lower Wednesday that rebounded. Held right at the 10 day EMA (157.89) and April high with this doji, and now is ready to start higher. Solid action gave us the buy, and now we see how it runs for us.

DLM 06/14 Flag 14.94 +0.46 15.44 18.55 3.2M 2.2M 14.39
Buy Not Issued. After pulling back for a couple of weeks DLM settled just under the 50 day EMA (14.69). A big bounce back on volume Wednesday moved this one back over the moving average, and it looks good. If it can keep going from here, we can start looking at moving in.

DLTR 05/29 PreSplt 62.66 +0.61 60.89 67.75 920K 1.6M 61.89
Current. Faded for a few sessions and then a short bounce back Wednesday. Showed a doji right over the 18 day EMA (62.44), holding up nicely. Right now we are just waiting for it to gain some pre-split momentum and really get going.

DTG 06/10 Pennant 43.71 +0.14 45.57 52.24 899K 1.7M 42.54
Buy Not Issued. Two days lower and now a nice hold at the 50 day EMA (43.28) with the doji. Also right at the earlier June low as it holds this support so this is a nice place to bounce. Will see if it can do that to move over the 18 day EMA (44.74) and hit our buy.

EMS 06/14 Test 20 56.02 +0.11 56.06 61.78 355K 388K 53.32
Current. Off the highs, but still a nice hold at this point. Still waiting for it to break on through the March/May/June down trendline, but this one is primed to do so. Will see if it sticks any gains from this point to get working for us.

FFIV 06/05 Test 50 74.36 +1.19 69.57 78.95 1.4M 1.6M 70.92
Current. Down for a couple days, but held the 10 day EMA (72.65) and bounced Wednesday. Nice action at support, and now we see if it can keep working to the upside for us.

GLD 05/24 Test 18 120.95 -0.50 117.32 122.24 14M 38M 120.54
Current. Intraday reach lower, and then bounced back to finish with a doji. Still in good shape at the light 10 day EMA (120.86) support, and will see if it can show more life at this level Thursday.

GTI 06/15 Asc Bse 15.92 -0.08 17.18 20.94 659K 2.3M 15.98
Buy Not Issued. Higher low in the pattern at the 50 day EMA (15.70), forming a doji. For an aggressive play, can move in with some positions on a solid bounce off this level. From there, adding some positions on the breakout move would be a great play. Will see if we get that.

HNT 06/08 Cup hdl 26.62 -0.22 26.10 29.75 893K 2.1M 26.38
Current. Big drop back Tuesday, and then gapped lower Wednesday. Hit the 18 day EMA (26.23) on the low and bounced to form a doji, so really a pretty solid move. The stock also tapped the January and March peaks with the intraday low, so this is a solid level to test to. It may continue to settle at this support level, but would not be a surprised with a turn higher Thursday.

ICE 06/21 Flag 117.52 -1.89 123.68 139.74 686K 1.4M 119.78
Buy Not Hit. Continued testing Wednesday, now sitting on top of the 50 day EMA (117.01). Great move at support, and the stock has already shown it can bounce from this level this month. Now we see if it can.

ILMN 05/11 ABCD Up 43.74 -0.17 42.74 47.95 1.2M 2M 42.74
Current. Very gentle test lower still, holding the 18 day EMA (43.49) with the doji. There is also support a little lower towards 43.50ish with an early June peak, so the stock is setting up nicely. Now we see if the stock bounces in the next day or so.

IRBT 05/06 Flag 20.76 +0.24 19.22 21.94 58K 220K 20.11
Current. Two days down, and then a nice bounce up off the 18 day EMA (20.41) Wednesday. Great little hold at support, forming a higher low if it can continue to stick. With the next bounce back, we see if it breaks through the May and early June highs at 22.

IWM 05/24 ABCD Up 64.57 -0.18 65.48 73.95 70M 100M 64.21
Current. Rolled back on us Monday, then kept to the downside Tuesday. Had to keep an eye on it, but it bounced nicely off the lows at the 200 day SMA (63.55) to form a doji. Nice to see the doji at this support so giving it more time to bounce.

JOYG 06/20 Rev HS 55.63 +0.27 56.23 63.62 2M 4M 53.77
Buy Not Issued. Nice test continues with a tap at the 50 day EMA (54.12) on the low and a rebound. Held the nice pre-gap level from Friday as well, and this one is set to bounce. Have to keep a close eye on it the next couple of days to see if it will jump and hit our buy point.

JPM 06/16 Rolling 38.89 +0.56 39.13 44.77 45M 50M 37.12
Current. This one faded for a couple of sessions, but bounced back firmly Wednesday. Good to see this kind of action and would be great if it could keep it up Thursday. Have some room to play with so just seeing what it does from here.

KLIC 06/23 DB hdl 7.58 -0.08 7.75 9.38 1.5M 2.5M 7.21
Buy Not Issued. Stepped down Wednesday, but held nicely with this doji over the 18 day EMA (7.52). The stock has formed a nice little handle back to support, and now is ready for a bounce. With the move back up that sticks, we jump in.

KWR 06/20 DB hdl 29.06 +0.18 28.56 34.94 167K 200K 26.72
Buy Not Issued. Doing that drift higher thing without much movement, falling off the highs. Most likely will take off, but would prefer a little test for a better entry point. Watching the next couple of days to see if it will give us any fade, or if it starts right to the upside.

LNCR 06/01 PreSplt 32.52 +0.17 32.13 35.95 3.1M 1M 31.20
Current. Gapped up Tuesday and held that gap, despite a big close off the highs. LNCR did open up lower Wednesday, but held the 18 day EMA (31.63) and showed a firm bounce back. Really good to see at this level, and now we watch how it reacts at the prior May highs (33.00).

MICC 06/23 Flag 86.21 +1.21 86.48 99.89 363K 800K 83.81
Buy Not Issued. Not bad but no volume as MICC took a modest step higher. Want to see some more trade with a continued move higher to give us the buy. Watching for that Thursday, but not going to rush it.

NEM 04/14 Flag 59.08 -0.44 55.48 62.95 8.8M 10M 58.91
Current. Really sweet test as NEM took a short gap lower, showing a doji. Filled the gap up from last week with the intraday low, also tapping the 10 day EMA (58.33) and May high with that low. Great position to bounce from so we see if it does that from here.

NETL 06/15 Rev HS 28.93 +0.18 29.88 34.89 859K 2M 27.79
Buy Not Issued. Was down for two days, closing below the 50 day EMA (28.99) Tuesday. Not quite able to retake that level Wednesday, but it did hold flat, showing a doji. It is trying to bounce back, but watching to see if it can do that Thursday.

NETL 05/19 Dbl btm 28.93 +0.18 28.98 34.89 859K 2M 27.53
Current.

NFLX 05/11 ABCD Up 117.77 +1.34 104.89 122.00 2.1M 3.2M 115.44
Current. This one slipped for a couple of days, but now showing life at the 18 day EMA (116.74). Lower volume on the day, but it is looking good at this level. Just giving it time to bounce for now.

NTRI 05/17 Test BO 23.99 +0.19 22.28 28.89 780K 2M 20.69
Current. Still showing that gentle drift higher, holding a small gain after finish off the highs. Having a little difficulty at the May high at 24, but we can give it some time to work through it.

NVLS 06/23 Flag 27.55 -0.12 27.96 32.00 2.6M 4.2M 27.21
Buy Not Hit. Flat last week, and has now tested for three days. Really nice reach down to the 18 day EMA (26.94) intraday and then bounced back to retake the 10 day EMA (27.47). Looking good, so keeping an eye on it to see if it will take that shot higher to hit our buy.

ORBK 06/05 DB hdl 11.61 +0.01 12.02 13.94 100K 125K 11.18
Buy Not Issued. We were looking to buy it early in the week, but it started to fade on us so we held off. Gapped lower to start things Wednesday, but after testing more intraday, ORBK shot higher to finish flat. Good life at key support with the 50 day EMA (11.37), and now we see if it is ready for the upside. If it can keep going Thursday, then we have to start watching it closely.

OSIS 06/01 DB hdl 29.55 +0.30 27.05 31.55 169K 275K 27.68
Current. Took a couple of days off, but tapped the 10 day EMA (28.70) on the low Wednesday and bounced. Looks ready for the next leg higher now so will let it work.

PAY 06/11 Test 20 20.08 +0.14 21.11 23.94 1.1M 2M 19.41
Current. Nice testing the past couple of days, and now starting a bounce back off the 50 day EMA (19.50). Showing life right where it needs to, but seeing if it can keep it up from this point.

PII 06/16 Flag 58.09 -0.35 59.88 71.00 299K 650K 57.48
Buy Not Hit. A little slide back the past several days, and now a nice hold at the 50 day EMA (57.76), showing a doji. Will see if it kicks things into gear from this point and starts to climb. When it does that, we look at moving in.

ROST 05/21 ABCD Up 55.41 +0.14 52.87 58.91 1.6M 3.2M 55.11
Current. Pretty similar action to many others: down for a few sessions but then a nice hold Wednesday at the 50 day EMA (54.66). Showing good life at a support level with the doji, but now we see if it can bounce like it is set to do.

SAPE 06/15 Asc Tri 10.38 -0.11 10.83 12.94 727K 1.5M 10.01
Current. This one kept testing, taking things easy for the fifth session. As it slipped below the 18 day EMA (10.42), it now looks like it will continue the fade to the 50 day EMA (10.14). Not a problem if it does that, will just watch how it reacts at that support.

SNDK 05/25 Pennant 46.87 -0.21 45.45 49.89 12M 12M 45.77
Current. Another stock testing nicely. It has faded for a few sessions now, and then gave a nice bounce off the lows to hold the 18 day EMA (46.33) Wednesday. Also right over the May/June highs, so really in good shape to bounce. Just giving it time to do so.

SNDK 04/29 Flag 46.87 -0.21 39.14 49.94 12M 13M 45.77
Current.

SSYS 06/11 Trnd Rv 24.69 -0.08 25.44 29.94 111K 250K 23.94
Current. Gap and rollover Monday, then faded to the 50 day EMA (24.51) Tuesday. Nice support to hold, and SSYS did that Wednesday after bouncing off the lows to form a doji. Doing its job so we leave it alone and see what it can do from here.

TIE 06/10 BO 19.93 +0.25 19.09 21.94 4.4M 4.5M 19.22
Current. Undercut the 10 day EMA (19.60) intraday, but bounced back to form a doji at the close. Looking good at light support, and now we see if it bounces for us Thursday.

UA 06/06 DB hdl 36.65 +0.75 34.17 39.89 595K 1.2M 34.22
Current. Slid for two days to the 10 day EMA (35.80) and April highs. Nice bounce back Wednesday, holding good support. Volume was a tad light, but this one is doing its job so we let it run.

URI 06/15 Test 50 10.98 -0.54 12.72 14.69 2.3M 2.1M 11.64
Buy Not Issued. Not able to hold up like many others Wednesday. Too far down now so have to drop it.

USO 06/10 Rolling 34.24 -0.76 34.74 38.18 13M 16M 34.11
Current. Gapped below the May gap point (34.81) and the early February low (35.09). This is where it needs to hang on. Oil should continue higher, but this one does have to show life soon to keep things in shape.

UTI 06/21 Rev HS 24.08 +0.08 25.31 29.95 98K 225K 23.57
Buy Not Hit. Similar story to many others this week with the rollover Monday and drop back Tuesday. Also similar to many others as it held the key support Wednesday, showing a doji at the 50 day EMA (23.84). Looks ready for a bounce back from this level so giving it a chance to do that.

VIT 06/11 Dbl btm 23.53 -0.32 22.08 25.95 431K 700K 21.89
Current. Solid shot higher Monday, held flat Tuesday, and then gave a little test Wednesday. Nice tap at the 10 day EMA (22.76) on the low, and then bounced back to cut part of the losses. Could very well keep to the upside now so just letting it run.

WBMD 06/22 Flag 47.06 -0.14 48.42 54.95 149K 450K 46.44
Buy Not Hit. Very controlled pullback the past five sessions, showing a doji each day. Another nice hold at the 18 day EMA (46.89) Wednesday, showing yet another doji. The stock is set to bounce, we are just waiting for it to break back out of the flag pattern.

WBSN 06/16 Test 20 20.98 +0.15 20.78 24.11 306K 650K 19.34
Buy Not Issued. Short step higher, but still not moving in as the volume was just not there. If it gets any fade and can start up with better trade, we can still look at moving in.

WHR 06/20 Pennant 97.71 -0.23 104.79 118.31 1.6M 2.2M 98.44
Current. A big drop Tuesday to finish below the 50 day EMA (98.95), and then just held under that point again Wednesday. Left it though as it is showing life with a nice bounce off the lows. Could be signaling it is ready to start higher from this point, but will have to watch if it does that. Really want it to retake the 50 day with the next bounce back.

WRLD 05/20 ABCD Up 39.98 +0.42 37.18 44.89 166K 500K 37.09
Current. Off the highs, but managed to hold a little gain at the close. Has worked laterally for the past several sessions pretty nicely so we are just leaving it alone. It could very well just slide back some Thursday, but looks good to hold up in this range for the next bounce up.

CVS 06/14 BearFla 31.43 +0.03 31.73 27.71 14M 12M 33.12
Buy Not Issued. Held flat like most other stocks with a little bounce off the lows, but that can work out nicely for the play. If it bounces back any towards the 10 day EMA (31.93) and can fail again, we can look at picking it up again.

DIA 06/14 Rollove 102.99 +0.06 103.09 98.11 13M 17M 104.89
Current. Great drop the past couple of days and now holding flat with a doji. It is under the 200 day SMA (103.35) with this doji, but still not great as it held flat. As it was a hedge we are inclined to just let it ride, so watching closely to make sure it stays in shape Thursday.

HAL 06/14 BearFla 25.78 -0.21 25.54 21.24 14M 24M 27.31
Buy Not Issued. Gapped up but then rolled over to give up the 50 day EMA (27.08) Monday. Fell Tuesday and Wednesday, just held off the buy with the lighter trade. Will give it a little more time now, and if it can show any weakness at the 18 day EMA (25.58) then we look at moving in.

PCLN 05/29 BearFla 188.25 -0.70 189.64 177.65 811K 1.9M 183.54
Current. Held flat Wednesday with a bounce up from the intraday lows. Sticking over the 10 day EMA (188.78) and mid June gap point still, but looks like it may be weakening some. Leaving on in case it can fall more, but do have to be watchful in case it tries to bounce back on us.

SPY 06/21 Rollove 109.23 -0.34 109.89 106.00 255M 28M 112.68
Current. Another one that bounced off the lows to finish with a doji. This downside was also a hedge, so leaving it on for now to see if it can resume the move down.

TEX 05/29 HdShldr 21.20 +0.02 20.81 17.44 1.9M 2.7M 20.82
Nice break down from the 50 day EMA (22.35) the past couple of sessions, giving up the 200 day SMA (21.51) at the close Tuesday. Held under that layer of resistance Wednesday, but did finish with a doji after bouncing off the lows. May try to bounce back now, but if it can stall out we may be able to buy it as it turns back down.
