STATUS: Cup w/handle. A solid move Friday started a breakout attempt from the 6.5 month base that could also be called a double bottom w/handle given the two bottoms in July and October. The move is even more interesting given the breakout over the 200 day MVA, the test, and now the sharper move up once again. Money flow remains vyer solid ahead of the move and relative strength has broken out and looks ready for more.

STATUS: Reverse head and shoulders. VSEA is still deep in its correction, but has formed a reverse head and shoulders, coming off the 18 day MVA to complete the right shoulder. Now it needs a breakout from the pattern to take it up to the 200 day MVA. Price/volume action is very good moving up off the bottom of the pattern, and money flow is is already racing ahead of the move. This is a trade at first as we look for a move up to the 200 day MVA (32.44).

STATUS: Breakout over the 200 day MVA (21.48). Internet stocks continue to show dramatic improvements off of their lows. They are still deep in the bases, but they are making very good comebacks; may not be long term holds, but they are providing great returns. Thursday WBSN broke out over the 200 day MVA on a great volume surge. Friday it managed a bit more of a gain on continued above average volume. Money flow is screaming ahead, price/volume action is strong, and accumulation is positive at 8 accumulation weeks to 7 distribution weeks. It may test back a bit toward 22.50 after the strong move, but it did that Thursday and started right back up. Looks ready to go.

STATUS: Testing the breakout from a cup w/handle. Appropriately named, WOOF jumped up out of its 4.5 month base Thursday, but found no traction Friday as it tested back on much lower, below average volume. Super accumulation in the base at 5 accumulation weeks to 2 distribution weeks. WOOF was a new issue in late 2001, and it looks ready to break to a new high here. Love new issues moving to new highs.
