STATUS: Cup w/handle. ADVP is forming a second handle to its 13-month base showing solid 16 to 9 accumulation (16 up weeks on rising volume to 9 down weeks on rising volume), very solid accumulation. The stock surged higher in late April, peaked at 34, and then entered the current pullback to test the 18 day MVA (31.59). It is showing a doji Tuesday over that support on lower, below average volume. The pullback to the 18 day has been on mostly lower volume, particularly compared to the rally on the breakout. Looking for a strong breakout on a big volume surge.

STATUS: Put. ACL double topped in April and May, making the May high on lower volume and unable to break over the April top. Making a lower volume attempt at a high is not good action. ACL is paying the price, falling below the 50 day MVA (41.92). Monday it gapped lower and rallied back up, but volume was lower and below average on the attempted recovery. Looking for it to fail on this test and roll back over on stronger volume.

It looks ready for the next move and positions can still be taken. Solid 5 to 1 accumulation (5 up weeks on rising volume to 1 down week on rising volume) in the 4-month base and excellent money flow.

Typically when stocks move laterally after a strong breakout such as MED's, they wait for the 10 day MVA to catch up to them and then jump higher. We are looking for that action here.
