STATUS: Cup w/handle. KLAC has formed another neat little cup with handle in June and July on the heels of the breakout from another 6 month cup w/handle in early June. The stock has held up very well as the market struggled over that same time. Accumulation in the small base is a solid 3 to 1 with strong money flow and excellent relative strength. To end last week KLAC pulled back to the 10 day MVA on the lows (49.70) on much lower volume. Monday it tapped the 18 day MVA on the low (49.19) and rebounded to hold the 10 day MVA. A very orderly pullback to shakeout the last sellers. It looks really good but we need to see the strong volume breakout.
