STATUS: Testing the breakout. APCC was working through a 8 month flat base when the blackout hit. That broke the stock up and out of the base as it was perceived there would be greater demand for backup power. The stock gapped higher, but has now come back to test breakout, tapping the 18 day MVA (17.29) on the Wednesday low and rebounding. It has now filled that gap on the breakout, a good point to start the next move. It was in a good base before the news, sporting 11 to 3 accumulation (11 up weeks on rising volume to 3 down weeks on rising volume). Strong money flow and a relative strength breakout. The test back has been on low volume, and we are looking for a move back up on much stronger trade.

STATUS: Cup w/handle. LIFC is moving in the handle of a short but nice 10 week base. Accumulation in the pattern is solid at 4 to 1 (4 up weeks on rising volume to 1 down week on rising volume). Money flow is very strong and relative strength is ready to make a breakout.

STATUS: Testing the breakout. MXIM just broke from a 9 month cup base sporting solid 9 to 4 accumulation. It rallied up to 45 and then pulled back early this week on lower volume. It tapped the 10 day MVA (42.63) on the Tuesday low and then rebounded Wednesday. Volume was lower, so not a powerful move yet. There is strong money flow to go along with the accumulation, and we are looking for amove past the Friday high on volume to enter. Looks solid.

STATUS: Double bottom w/handle. STM is another chip stock moving in a good base, forming a double bottom over the past 3 months, using the 200 day MVA (20.88) on the lows of the base to form the pattern. Accumulation in the base is an excellent 6 to 1, and STM is moving the past two weeks on excellent volume. That indicates there is a lot of big money interested in the stock. Money flow is racing higher and relatevie strength is looking for a breakout. Very solid.
