STATUS: Cup w/handle. We are looking at MOBE again as it works in a 7 week base showing excellent 3 to 0 accumulation (3 up weeks on rising volume to 0 down weeks on rising volume). It made a breakout attempt two weeks back but then reversed and sold back. It managed to hold some price support at 7 and then rebounded Monday on a very strong shot of volume. The move coincided with the announcement of a new product, an improvement on it universal power adaptor. This is really handy as it allows you to have just one adaptor for all of your electronic devices. Thus when you have more than one Dell laptop you can buy this and carry just one adaptor as opposed to the various and non-interchangeable adaptors that Dell puts on each different series of laptops. Strong money flow and relative strength rallying again and ready for a breakout.

NUVO (Nuvelo--$2.88; +0.41; no options): Diagnostic substances

STATUS: Cup breakout. Drugs, medical appliances and diagnostics are solid sectors. NUVO just blasted from a 3.5 month cup base Monday, rallying on a strong volume surge. Accumulation in the base is an outstanding 7 to 0, accompanied by surging money flow and a relative strength breakout. Volume was very low and well below average in at the bottom of the base that spanned two months and held the 50 day MVA (2.08) as support while it worked laterally. Volume then swelled on the move up to complete the base. This is very good price/volume action, just what it should be in the base. Looking to move into positions on a continued move on this breakout.

STATUS: Double bottom w/handle. Very low volume as CVNS continues to form the handle to its 2 month base. Again, a very nice base with excellent 3 to 0 accumulation (3 up weeks on rising volume to 0 down weeks on rising volume), strong money flow and relative strength. An excellent base following the breakout from a 8 month cup with handle, and we are looking for a continuation of the move.

STATUS: Flying plateau. Very nice hammer doji right on top of the 10 day MVA (4.09) Monday on continued below average volume. Nice action in the two week lateral move testing the strong break higher to start the month. MND was a new issue in late June and immediately formed a 2 month cup base. Money flow is outstanding, and relative strength broke out on the move and had held its own. We love new issues, and on a break higher on strong volume we will look to move in.
