STATUS: Ascending triangle. ORBK has set up this 5 week pattern that follows the early September breakout from an 11 week flat base. Accumulation in the current pattern is a solid 3 to 1 (3 up weeks on rising volume to 1 down week on rising volume). Volume has been spiking on up sessions, doing so Tuesday and before that on Thursday. Strong money flow and relative strength is ready for another breakout.

PIXR (Pixar--$68.58; -1.32; optionable): Animated movies

STATUS: Head and shoulders. PIXR peaked at 75 in early September and crashed hard to 65. From there it rebounded to 72.50 and again rolled over. Tuesday it broke the 50 day MVA (69.13) on above average volume. It is forming the right shoulder, and on a further move we are looking to enter positions down to our first target at 65. If it breaks down there it has further downside to 62.50 and even the 200 day near 60.

STATUS: Cup w/handle. Volume started higher Tuesday as AFOP moved up off another test of the 18 day MVA (1.76). It continues in its 4 week tight, lateral range that is the handle to a 23 month base sporting 13 to 11 accumulation (13 up weeks on rising volume to 11 down weeks on rising volume. Just waiting for the breakout mov eon volume.
