STATUS: Test 50 day MVA. Broke out in June and put together a nice 12 point run. It peaked out near 30 in late October and has come back to test the 50 day MVA (26.09) on much lower, below average volume this month. It is at the 50 day, hodlign over the September highs. After hours it reported strong earnings and was up over $1. This looks to be the move that will send it on the next leg off of this key support. It will gap open, but we will see if it comes back to hold the 10 or 18 day MVA (27.32), and then starts back up from there. That is where we move in.

STATUS: Testing the breakout. MXIM surged out of an 8 week reverse head and shoulders pattern in late October on strong trade. It rallied up to 52 and is now testing the breakout on lower trade. It has tapped and held the 18 day MVA (49.89) this week, showing a doji at that level Wednesday. A solid stock in its first test of the breakout. Looking to pick it up from here on a volume move over the 10 day MVA (50.82).
