STATUS: Breakout test. This is not the old K-Mart. Its new CEO has turned around Sears, Auto Zone, and other left for dead retailers. KMRT surged in March as it broke out, and it is making its first real test of that move, falling back to the 18 day MVA on the Tuesday low (42.02) and bouncing back for a gain. Nice low volume pullback to test the run, and now we look for it to blow past the 10 day MVA on above average volume.

STATUS: Cup w/handle. Working on a nice tight handle over the 18 day MVA (12.58) as IKN looks to be preparing to break out from its 11 week base. It formed over the 50 day MVA (12.20), a sign of strength. Excellent 6 to 1 accumulation (6 up price weeks on rising volume to 1 down price week on rising volume) in the pattern shows money moved in during the consolidation and setting up the foundation for a breakout and run higher.

STATUS: Cup w/handle. Tried the breakout Thursday but gave back the move to 9.86 on the high. Volume was not there and it could not hold the move. Still solid in the 10 week base and sporting excellent 3 to 0 accumulation. Ready for it to reload and try one more time.
