STATUS: Cup. Volume surged Tuesday as DUSA moved off of the 50 day EMA (10.32). It looks as if it is starting to form the right side of its current 8 week base. Already accumulation in the pattern is a strong 3 to 0 (3 up weeks on rising volume to 0 down weeks on rising volume); that shows us that money is moving into the stock as it bases, and it also shows us the pattern is strong because it is early in the base for such good accumulation. It can give us a nice return just running up to the prior high over 14. At that level we anticipate it will form a handle and try to make a breakout for even better gains. Money flow is running up ahead of price, another indication it is ready to make the move up the right side of the base.

STATUS: Breakout test. Holding the 10 day EMA (23.53) on continuing below average volume as it eases back to test the big breakout to end March. Looked as if it might be ready to continue the move Monday, but as with many stocks, no volume. Still holding up and we simply wait for volume to surge in as it starts back up and moves through the buy point.
