STATUS: Put. LOW continues its downtrend that started with the November peak. It based out through mid-February, but when it moved up toward the November high it failed without making the breakout. It bounced off the 200 day SMA (54.48) the first try but then broke through in April. It failed a test and has slid down the 10 and 18 day EMA since. Friday it tapped the 18 day EMA (51.22) and then sold on high volume Monday as earnings were decent but not enough to change the downtrend. Looking for further volume selling to enter.

GD (General Dynamics--$94.38; -0.81; optionable): Defense. Forecast to announce a split on 6-3-04 in conjunction with a board meeting or on 7-21-04 in conjunction with earnings.
BACKGROUND: Last announced a 2 for 1 split on 3-4-98 in conjunction with a board meeting at a stock price of $85. The annual shareholder meeting was on 5-5-04 at which time no additional shares were authorized. The company has sufficient shares for a 2 for 1 split.

STATUS: Cup w/handle. Wanted to get this one on because it could make the move at any time. A nice14 week base sporting positive 4 to 3 accumulation (4 up price weeks on rising volume to 3 down price weeks on rising volume). Excellent money flow surging higher head of price. It rallied off the 50 day SMA (91.05) last week on rising volume, paused Monday to take a breath, but still looks excellent. Looking for it to continue following that money flow.
