Begin part 3 of 3

We apologize for the delay in part 2. We experienced a crash that corrupted our data, and we had to rebuild.

THE PLAYS

Good movers Thursday: AAPL; AH; CWTR; DECK; ELGX; IDEV; WBSN

Wednesday night play results:
MSSN: Continued the move but volume was weak.
FHRX: Solid move. Though volume was lower but volume has been strong the past week.
BLL: Bounced up through the 50 day EMA.
IDCC: Still holding below the 50 day EMA on low volume as it struggles.

New plays for Friday:

Upside:

Play Date: 09/16/2004
CYTC (Cytyc--$24.18; +0.01; optionable): Medical instruments
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/c/cytc.html
STATUS: Flat base. Volume has started to jump the past few sessions as CYTC moved up off of the 50 day EMA (23.35) in its 12 week flat base. Excellent 6 to 1 accumulation shows solid buying during the base as big money accumulates positions. The base has formed using the 50 day as support, another indication of strong support. After a an 18 month dormancy it has come back to life this year. A solid leader once again. Just waiting for that volume to continue higher on the breakout move.
Volume: 402.106K Avg Volume: 1.154M
BUY POINT: $24.74 Volume=1.7M Target=$29 Stop=$23.75
POSITION: YQK AE - Jan. $25c (50 delta) &/or Stock

Play Date: 09/16/2004
TWTI (Third Wave Tech--$6.56; +0.49; no options): Biotechnology
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/t/twti.html
STATUS: Breakout test. Exploded out of a short 5 week base in early September, rallying to 6.94 on the first run. It has eased back to the 10 day EMA (6.12) on low volume, making a very nice test. Thursday volume shot higher as the stock jumped off of the 10 day. Successful test and starting up again. The first test of the breakout is one of our favorite entry points.
Volume: 562.243K Avg Volume: 157.638K
BUY POINT: $6.72 Volume=236K Target=$8.06 Stop=$6.25
POSITION: - Stock (no option chain)

New buy point on continuing play:

Play Date: 09/16/2004
WBSN (Websense--$41.31; +2.04; optionable): Internet services
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/w/wbsn.html
After Hours: $41.50
STATUS: Breakout. WBSN is making the next breakout move, surging out of a 5 week flat base/flying plateau it used to consolidate the mid-August breakout from its short cup with handle. 3 to 0 accumulation in the recent lateral move, showing buyers buying it up. Excellent volume Thursday as it started the next breakout move. Strong money flow and a relative strength breakout as well. Looking to pick up more positions on the continuing move.
Volume: 1.031M Avg Volume: 548.109K
BUY POINT: $41.55 Volume=600K Target=$47 Stop=$40.48
POSITION: DQH AH - Jan. $40c (63 delta) &/or Stock

SUBSCRIBER PORTFOLIO: These are stocks subscribers suggest by vote that we put in a portfolio to track and move into the stocks if they perform well. If you have any suggestions for additions or deletions, email us. We don't cover them all each report, just when something interesting is developing.

BR, COH, EASI, EBAY, GMAI, GTRC, HDWR, JNPR, MSFT, QCOM

COH: Trying to form a handle to a rather sharp cup base.

JNPR: Still in a lateral move, forming handle to the double bottom base that has formed the past 5.5 months. May be leading up to a strong breakout, and that would be a positive for NASDAQ.

SUBSCRIBER WATCHLIST

We continually receive ideas for potential plays from subscribers. Many times they are already on our watchlists, other times not. We always take a look and sometimes find a gem or two, or more. We don't necessarily endorse these, but want to provide a forum for subscribers with ideas that may appeal to other subscribers. We may just put on the ticker or we might describe our thoughts as to why or why not we think it is a buy or sell. This is a way we can all learn a bit more and maybe find a few more candidates to make us some good money.

Downside:

AVCI: Moving down the 10 day EMA. Needs to break through this support at 8.

Upside:

CPTV: Has rallied to the 200 day SMA on some solid volume. Resistance from the 200 day and prior price bottoms. Needs a strong breakout over this level.

Good Investing!
