PFCB (PF Changs--$62.90; +2.20; optionable): Restaurants (PF Chang's, Pei Wei). Just announced earnings last week but pinpointing the date.
BACKGROUND: Last announced a 2:1 split on 4-3-02 at $64.00.

STATUS: Cup w/handle. Big volume on a big break higher from a 14 week base that formed with a tap at the 200 day SMA (56.03) early on and then the 50 day EMA (59.95) as support for the handle. Solid 5 to 3 accumulation in the base (5 up price weeks on rising volume to 3 down price weeks on rising volume) set the stage for the breakout. Strong money flow and relative strength is ready for the breakout move as well to corroborate the price move. Looking to step into positions on a continued move higher and then complete the buy on the successful test of the breakout. A strong leader that is powering its way to its next split announcement.
