THE PLAYS
Good movers: BMD, CYCL, FIX, IIJI, IRIS, REDF, SCUR
Weekend play results:
COHU: Continuing higher on strong volume.
IMGC: Good volume but pulled back off the high. Still looks good but may pullback first.
TGT: Holding steady on lower volume.
VRTX: Still set up to make the breakout
NVDA: Nice test still setting up.
Upside:
Play Date: 11/07/2005
ALO (Alpharma--$27.24; +1.46; optionable): Drugs
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/a/alo.html
After Hours: $28.30
STATUS: Flat base. ALO is making the breakout from its 9 week flat base that formed using the 18 day EMA (25.47) as support. Strong 3 to 1 accumulation in the base (3 up price weeks on rising volume to 1 down price weeks on rising volume) has set up the breakout and run. Money flow is strong and moving higher ahead of price. Relative strength broke out on the move, a good sign for the stock price to follow. Ready to move to a 4 year high and starting the move Monday on strong volume.

CBST (Cubist Pharmaceuticals--$21.14; -0.14; optionable): Drugs
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/c/cbst.html
After Hours: $21.13
STATUS: Cup w/handle. CBST has formed a short 5 week base over the 50 day EMA (19.02), a key support level that shows the big money moving in to support the stock. Nice fade back the past three sessions on continued low volume. Looking for volume to jump back as it makes the breakout. Strong earnings and sales to go along with the pattern.
Volume: 413.375K Avg Volume: 646.162K
BUY POINT: $21.95 Volume=969K Target=$26.45 Stop=$20.41

http://biz.yahoo.com/p/g/glw.html
After Hours: $20.01
STATUS: Cup w/handle. GLW is making a low volume test of the 10 day EMA (19.70), forming the handle to its 8 week base. Positive 2 to 1 accumulation shows net buyers. Good consolidation, solid money flow. Looking for volume to rally as GLW clears the handle high and makes the breakout move.

SUBSCRIBER PORTFOLIO: These are stocks subscribers suggest by vote that we put in a portfolio to track and move into the stocks if they perform well. If you have any suggestions for additions or deletions, email us. We don't cover them all each report, just when something interesting is developing.
AAPL, CELG, BR, COH, NVDA, PSYS, RTSX, STN, UNH
AAPL: Moving laterally as it received its second downgrade. Strong stock to just shake those off.
BR: Dove through the 50 day EMA. Can sell some November or December $70 call options and ride it to 70. Strong volume on the break lower so it may not stop there.
PSYS: Announced a stock split. Not much movement as it moves off the 10 day EMA on low volume.
RTSX: Strong break higher on strong volume.
SUBSCRIBER WATCHLIST
We continually receive ideas for potential plays from subscribers. Many times they are already on our watchlists, other times not. We always take a look and sometimes find a gem or two, or more. We don't necessarily endorse these, but want to provide a forum for subscribers with ideas that may appeal to other subscribers. We may just put on the ticker or we might describe our thoughts as to why or why not we think it is a buy or sell. This is a way we can all learn a bit more and maybe find a few more candidates to make us some good money.
WEBM: Has formed a 9 week double bottom with handle base above the 50 day EMA as a handle to an 11 month cup base. Trying to come off the bottom of a long decline.
