STATUS: Test breakout. VVUS blasted higher in mid-May, surging out of a 9.5 month base that formed after the May 2005 low. Strong jump off the 18 day EMA (4.29) Thursday after the three week test of the strong break higher. Used the 18 day as near support and now ready to move higher and continues its recovery.

STATUS: Double bottom. Two solid sessions of above average volume though neither really spiking higher. Nice price move Thursday coupled with the trade; it is right at the breakout point and ready to move in as it continues the break higher. To recap: Forming a handle to the 10 week base, easing back to the 10 day EMA (12.96) this week. Showed an above average volume spike Wednesday as BMRN showed a doji at that near support. Excellent pattern ready to give us the breakout to a 4.5 year high.
