COGO (Comtech Group--$18.88; -0.12; optionable): Mobile handset modules, etc. for electronics manufacturers in China
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/c/cogo.html
EARNINGS: Announced 2-8-07
STATUS: Cup w/handle. Taking another look at COGO as it sets up once more for a breakout to a new all-time high. It surged higher in early March but then reversed, managing to hold the 10 day EMA in a big blow down right after the breakout move. It held and now has set up a new handle at near support, looking again for a breakout to a new all time high. Nice 15 week base.

LTBG (Lightbridge--$16.99; +0.23; optionable): Wireless telecom
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/l/ltbg.html
EARNINGS: 4-25-07
STATUS: Test 50 day EMA. LTBG is making its second test of the 50 day EMA (16.45) after the January breakout from its 7 month cup with handle base. In March when it tested the 50 day it made a short double bottom and launched higher. It has put in another short double bottom at the 50 day EMA the past week. Volume jumped well above average Thursday for the first time this month as it tapped the 50 day on the low and rebounded for a nice, solid gain. Looking to move in as LTBG continues higher.

MCHP (Microchip--$37.36; +0.33; optionable): Semiconductors
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/m/mchp.html
EARNINGS: 4-26-07
STATUS: Double bottom w/handle. Nice little 8 week base over the 90 day MA is acting as the handle to its larger 13 month base. Volume surged Wednesday as the chips came to life. Looks strong and is a chip ready for a breakout to a new all-time high.

A new look at:
Play Date: 04/19/2007
VCLK (Valueclick--$29.24; -0.53; optionable): Internet advertising services
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/v/vclk.html
EARNINGS: 5-3-07
STATUS: Test breakout. VCLK gapped lower on the EBAY earnings, and we took the rest of the gain off the table, a bit prematurely as we found out. It managed to hold the 10 day EMA on the close, showing a hammer doji on the candlestick chart. That pullback also put it right on top of the late February high that marks the top of the base. We are looking for VCLK to hold this support and then start to bounce on rising trade. If it does we will move right back in.
Volume: 1.538M Avg Volume: 1.944M
BUY POINT: $29.88 Volume=2.6M Target=$35.45 Stop=$28.95
POSITION: QCS IF - Sept. $30c (61 delta) &/or Stock

AAPL, AKAM, CELG, DRIV, GME, GOOG, ISE, MA, PCLN, NVDA, NYX
AAPL: Hanging in at the 50 day SMA with a pair of dojis.
AKAM: Still setting up well for the break higher.
CELG: Breakout!
DRIV: Faded back to the 50 day EMA on low volume and held it to the close. Needs to show us a bounce here.
GOOG: Earnings after hours that were solid. It was up $12, then just $3, and then bounced back up to the $12+ range.
ISE: Tough session, gapping lower on above average volume.
PCLN: Struggling, fading through the 18 day EMA on the close. Volume remained low but it needs to hold the line here.
NVDA: Another nice break higher off the 50 day EMA after gapping above that level on Tuesday.
Good Investing!
