FFIV (F5 Networks--$80.47; -1.42; optionable): Network solutions
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/f/ffiv.html
EARNINGS: 7-25-07
STATUS: Reverse head and shoulders test. FFIV broke higher last Thursday on a strong shot of above average volume. The move started the breakout from an 18 week base moving FFIV to a 6.5 year high. It has come back to give a quick test of that move, tapping at the 10 day EMA (79.43) on the intraday low and rebounding to cut its losses on the session. Solid leader in its sector with strong money flow leading the way higher. After this test we want to see volume jump back up along with the stock price to give us the entry point.

FISV (Fiserv--$57.65; -0.52; optionable): Transaction processing, etc.
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/f/fisv.html
EARNINGS: Announced 4-25-07
STATUS: Breakout test. FISV blasted out from a 12 week double bottom of sorts last Wednesday, surging on very strong volume to a new all-time high. It is making a test the past three days, coming back to test the move, showing a doji above the 10 day EMA (56.69) Tuesday on lower volume. Money flow is very strong and after this test FISV is ready to resume the breakout move. Just waiting for a bounce on continued solid volume.

RS (Reliance Steel--$61.80; -0.24; optionable): Metals processing and products distributing services
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/r/rs.html
EARNINGS: Announced 7-18-07
STATUS: Flying plateau. RS broke higher from an 11 month cup with handle base in late March and rallied up to the current 6 week lateral move. The 10 and 18 day EMA (60.93) have caught up with the lateral move. Good upside volume Friday (the first in three weeks) and now a low volume test back to the 10 day EMA, showing a doji Tuesday. Metals remain a hit area in the market, and RS has set up for the next move. Want to see the volume ratchet up as it moves off this test of near support.
Volume: 784.51K Avg Volume: 1.246M
BUY POINT: $62.95 Volume=1.9M Target=$72.50 Stop=$60.78
POSITION: RS IL - Sept. $60c (61 delta) &/or Stock

SPWR (SunPower Corp.--$55.92; +3.29; optionable): Solar electric power products
http://biz.yahoo.com/p/s/spwr.html
EARNINGS: Announced 4-26-07
STATUS: Test 50 day EMA. After a solid breakout in early April from a 13 month base, SPWR has come back to test. It spent two weeks at the 50 day EMA (52.77) on lower volume and then jumped higher Tuesday on the strongest volume in three weeks. Nice breakout, nice test, nice bounce getting underway. SPWR was a new issue in November 2005, and that big base was its first. Thus it looks as if it is just getting underway. Ready to move in as it continues higher.
Volume: 2.745M Avg Volume: 1.449M
BUY POINT: $56.31 Volume=1.6M Target=$67.45 Stop=$52.65
POSITION: QSU IK - Sept. $55c (60 delta) &/or Stock

SUBSCRIBER PORTFOLIO: These are stocks subscribers suggest by vote that we put in a portfolio to track and move into the stocks if they perform well. If you have any suggestions for additions or deletions, email us. We don't cover them all each report, just when something interesting is developing.
AAPL, AKAM, CELG, DRIV, GME, GOOG, ISE, MA, PCLN, NVDA, NYX
AAPL: iPhone is out on 6-29 and the early reviewers really like it. AAPL is heading higher still on that news. There will be a release of pre-orders at some point. It is likely a good idea to take some gain before the release date.
CELG: Still at the 50 day EMA, trying to set up for the next move.
GOOG: Still storming ahead to a new all-time high.
MA: Nice test of the 10 day EMA and a bounce. May come back a bit more before resuming the move. If it does we will look at that to pick up some positions.
NVDA: Getting some fire to the move, rallying past the May high on rising, above average volume.
Good Investing!
