STATUS: Test 10 day EMA. MBT surged higher last week but back in the same day. It has worked laterally the past week just below 67.50 on below average volume, setting up the next break higher as the 10 day EMA (65.72) rises to meet it. That typically sets the next run in place. Strong money flow is surging higher ahead of price and looking for MBT to continue following it higher.

EARNINGS: 7-11-07
STATUS: Test breakout. MTL exploded higher on its earnings last week and is currently testing that move, coming back to support at 42.50 this week. Broke out from a 1.5 year cup with handle in mid-June and this is the second test of the 10 day EMA after the breakout. Strong stocks typically make 4 to 5 bounces up off this near support, and with volume surging higher Thursday and MTL starting back up, it is set to make the next run. Ready to move in as it continues moving higher.

STATUS: Breakout test. SAY broke sharply higher in early July from an 11 week trading range between 24 and 26, gapping higher on strong volume. It rallied to 28 and then came back, waiting for the 10 and 18 day EMA to catch it. It has held that near support and on Thursday was surging on strong volume. Earnings came out just over the past 15 minutes and were below forecasts; we will see how SAY responds from an early dip.

STATUS: Flat base. Broke out from a 9 week flat base Thursday, showing strong volume to match the price move. Strong money flow is leading the way as TESO breaks to a new high. Looking to pick up some positions as TESO continues higher and then again on the test if it gives us one.
