STATUS: Test breakout. MTL exploded higher on its earnings last week and is currently testing that move, coming back to support at 42.50 this week. Broke out from a 1.5 year cup with handle in mid-June and this is the second test of the 10 day EMA after the breakout. Strong stocks typically make 4 to 5 bounces up off this near support, and with volume surging higher Thursday and MTL starting back up, it is set to make the next run. Ready to move in as it continues moving higher.

STATUS: Breakout test. GLDN gapped higher to start July, surging out of an 8 week cup with no handle base. Nice run to 70 on the move and this week it is making its first test, moving laterally as it waits for the 10 day EMA (65.71) to catch up with it, refusing to give back much of the gain. May take another session or two to complete the test, but this one has shown it can make golden moves when it gets going.
