AAPL 06/04 Cup hdl 173.88 +1.30 189.19 209.95 32M 40M 183.69
Current. Announced it sold over 1M 3G iPhones over weekend and gave a great move higher through Monday. Could not hold it however and turned lower to post a short bounce higher off the 50 day EMA. Still in decent shape here above key support so can't complain, but would really like to see it continue uphill with the help of the iPhone2.
ABMD 07/09 Test 18 18.02 -0.17 18.44 22.32 191K 350K 17.15
Buy Not Issued. Short step lower to the 18 day EMA for ABMD with the market to close at support. On just below average volume here and just resting a bit at support before resuming higher from this early July testing low. Watching for the buy from there.
ACL 07/08 PreAnn 163.79 -2.76 164.78 179.95 295K 475K 161.31
Buy Not Issued. Sold back to the 18 day EMA with the market turning a bit lower Monday. On fading below average volume to start out the week and with ACL in a solid uptrend from late May it needs to bounce soon.
ADTN 07/10 Cup hdl 24.77 -0.59 26.22 31.48 1.9M 2M 24.38
Buy Not Hit. Sold back to the 18 day EMA through Monday with the market turnover but closed at support so not shedding too many tears. On high volume here and watching it closely to see it hold the line.
AGU 07/12 Test 50 104.28 +2.81 104.11 115.95 3.9M 6.5M 98.78
Entered today. Gapped higher and performed quite admirably on above average volume so bought it. Looking solid here and like the nice test of the 50 day EMA in early July.
ALXN 07/03 Rev HS 74.81 -1.09 76.04 89.95 504K 1M 73.32
Current. Sold modestly with the market Monday on rising below average volume. Back at the 10 day EMA after giving up the Friday gains from last week and at the moment just consolidates along the mid 70s. Not bad. Just needs to hold here and continue the Rev HS move higher again soon.
AMSC 06/19 Test BO 32.15 -0.09 45.95 53.95 802K 1.5M 41.45
Current. Doji move laterally along the 90 day SMA for AMSC again Monday for a sixth day straight. Not much volume Monday in the doji as AMSC was on just below average volume and cannot complain as long as it holds here at its testing low at the 90 day SMA.
ATW 06/07 PreAnn 54.61 +0.26 52.88 60.98 1.4M 800K 53.22
Current. Split 2:1 and gapped higher but could not hold the move. Still like it, however as it held onto some of the Monday gains after the midday turnover and looking to see it continue uphill from here on this rising above average volume.
BABY 07/02 DB hdl 21.65 -1.30 22.63 26.95 1.1M 465K 21.79
Current. One of the medical appliance stocks hit early in the session but it held the 50 day MA and rebounded to hold near support. Liked seeing that and holds the 18 day EMA at the close as well so BABY still in decent shape here early this week.
BAX 06/27 Asc Bse 64.88 -0.36 64.00 72.95 3.5M 4.8M 63.97
Current. Light selling for BAX Monday on average volume as it consolidates along the 10 day EMA. Solid Asc Bse working its way higher through July so far and looking good to resume the base move higher once trade resumes if BAX can hold the line here.
BRCM 06/19 Test 50 27.77 +0.06 28.36 32.45 15M 20M 26.97
Current. Doji step laterally for BRCM Monday on just above average volume with BRCM holding the 10 day EMA as support. Like the Dbl btm base setup here and just needs stronger volume to get going higher again like it did at the start of July.
CELG 07/07 Test BO 71.03 -0.63 71.65 81.95 3.3M 6M 69.91
Current. CELG weathering a bit of selling Monday on fading below average volume off of its July high here as it begins to test. Volume fading fast however and CELG just looking to make a quick test here before resuming the Dbl btm move higher through July.
CF 06/14 DB hdl 165.09 +6.04 160.49 189.95 2.5M 4M 159.11
Current. Gapped higher and climbed through Monday on just below average volume for some decent gains. CF in good shape through July so far as it takes a solid DB hdl base move uphill through the month. Approaching the late June however at 170ish and key to see it push higher from here.
CHK 07/10 Test 50 63.00 -0.52 63.71 73.94 13M 20M 61.38
Current. Started with a decent move higher and turned over intraday with the market to close back at the 18 day EMA. On just above average volume here and needs to hold the line and resume its bounce higher.
CHP 07/08 Test BO 8.74 -0.10 8.60 10.99 285K 455K 8.32
Current. CHP kicking off the new week with a surge uphill but couldn't hang onto the move and turned over to close flat with a doji. On average volume and needs to continue this recovery move off the 10 day EMA from late June soon for the buy.
CLB 06/07 Cup 136.17 +0.45 141.95 162.45 204K 315K 132.45
Current. Doji step higher to hold the 50 day EMA at the Friday surging high another session. Like to see CLB hanging onto key support here and in good shape as it rests Monday as the market hit some selling intraday.
DIA 06/24 Trnd Rv 110.50 -0.50 118.60 121.90 26M 20M 117.12
Current. DIA in some modest selling DIA Monday with high volume but really no severe damage in the session with a short step lower. Still, don't like to see it continue lower from here and needs to hit the brakes soon.
DNR 05/28 Test BO 34.77 +1.16 35.87 42.75 2.2M 3.2M 37.88
Current. Doji gap higher for DNR Monday on above average volume to recover the 18 day EMA. Nice bounce off the 50 day EMA here for some solid gains and DNR in good shape as it starts a nice recovery move from its pullback to the 50 day EMA through late June and early July.
ERES 06/14 Asc Bse 17.06 -0.52 16.62 19.98 528K 850K 17.22
Current. Sold off as did other medical stocks. Managed to bounce and volume was low so left it to give it a rebound chance.
FLIR 07/10 FlyPlat 42.00 -0.55 43.91 52.75 3M 2.8M 40.97
Buy Not Hit. Light selling for FLIR Monday to close just under the 10 day EMA on rising, above average volume and continues a quiet test of its Asc bse high from early July. Just watching it closely out of this test through July so far and waiting for a bounce off support on stronger trade to let us in.
FLIR 06/14 Test 50 42.00 -0.55 39.75 45.85 3M 1.3M 40.18
Current.
GENZ 07/02 Test 20 76.94 +1.27 73.11 82.45 3.8M 3.2M 74.32
Current. Modest move higher for GENZ on rising above average volume Monday as it continues its Cup base climb through late June and July so far. Looking solid and like the rising, strong volume.
GILD 07/12 Test 50 53.55 -0.15 54.68 61.75 6.3M 10M 52.91
Buy Not Hit. Light selling for GILD Monday back to the 18 day EMA on fading, now low volume. Volume dropping fast here and GILD just making a quick test of this early July high out of its pullback from the 90 day SMA. If it can resume higher again soon we're in but needs stronger trade to make the move.
GS 06/24 Test 20 158.67 -3.81 186.90 199.85 16M 14M 178.78
Current. Sold hard Monday on above average volume back below key support from the early June low. Bit of a pullback in trade however and needs to hit the brakes here.
HCBK 07/12 Dbl btm 16.58 -1.23 18.21 21.95 14M 12M 17.21
Buy Not Hit. Looked great Friday before all of the financials rolled over Monday after the early bounce higher on the Fed/Treasury action. Dropped this one here after selling huge through Monday. Bummer.
MANT 07/08 Test 50 51.52 +1.03 50.74 57.95 238K 329K 49.55
Current. Gapped higher and climbed through Monday on a pickup in trade to above the average line. Looking good here and set to climb some more this week.
MASI 07/09 Cup hdl 35.56 -1.16 36.47 41.95 811K 650K 35.11
Current. Same storey as others in the medical industry: sold off early as money started to move out of these 'safer' sectors, then they rebounded as the market reversed back to the downside. Good to see this one holding at the 10 day EMA through Monday as support however and not in too bad of shape just yet.
MON 06/12 Test BO 119.29 +0.03 137.04 156.95 5M 10M 139.69
Current. Started with a great move higher through Monday to the 10 day EMA but couldn't hold the move and turned back intraday to close flat. On just below average volume and resting some more at its testing low near 120 for now.
MOS 06/21 Test BO 145.69 +3.88 135.11 157.95 4.4M 9M 141.11
Doji gap higher for MOS Monday. Not much trade but still some decent gains as it continues its recovery move from the early July testing low at the 90 day SMA. Could really use stronger volume to continue this move higher.
MR 05/23 Rev HS 36.11 -0.05 39.98 47.89 339K 1M 39.22
Current. Sold off the 50 day EMA Monday and came back to the 36.0 range at its testing low here in early July. Taking a breather at key support from the 90 day SMA and late June low so can't complain as long as it holds the line here.
MYGN 07/08 Test BO 57.82 +0.11 54.75 62.95 1.8M 1.5M 55.42
Current. MYGN starting with a great move higher Monday but turned over intraday with the market and closed flat with a doji. On rising above average volume here and just resting at its July high in the DB hdl for now. Watching it here after the big tombstone doji, typically means a test is coming up.
PCX 07/10 Test 50 137.04 +0.33 135.95 159.95 1M 1.8M 133.21
Current. PCX with a doji step higher for some light gains Monday. On average volume here and resting a bit at support from the 18 day EMA before resuming this recovery move off the 50 day EMA from early July.
PKI 07/12 Cup hdl 27.55 -0.72 29.26 33.95 1.6M 1.6M 27.97
Buy Not Hit. PKI selling hard with the market Monday past key support from the 50 day EMA so closed it.
POT 07/03 PreAnn 228.51 +7.13 215.94 239.95 8.2M 12M 220.11
Target Hit. Took some interim option gain on these positions. 31% or $820/contract (DI); 26% or $710/contract (ST). POT with a great gap higher Monday and climbed a bit as well on some solid gains. Nice above average volume.
PSYS 06/18 Flat 36.20 -3.48 38.50 44.45 3.8M 1.2M 37.98
Current. Unlike many other in the health services, PSYS did not rebound much though it did hold support at 36. Watching to see if it can bounce Tuesday or at least continue to hold support and set up for a bounce.
RBN 07/03 Test BO 51.11 +3.15 46.12 54.95 1.2M 775K 47.24
Current. RBN looking solid Monday on high volume as it surged through the session for some great gains. No signs of hitting the brakes just yet and RBN in strong shape early this week making its own wake against the market selling.
RIMM 04/09 Cup hdl 107.84 -1.95 118.75 144.95 21M 35M 143.65
Current. Feeding off of AAPL as AAPL gave up its gains after a stronger open and RIMM continued lower into this week after breaking the key 200 day SMA in the selling last Friday. Giving it another session to see if it can stabilize.
RIMM 03/21 DB hdl 107.84 -1.95 111.25 126.95 21M 32M 143.65
Current.
RIMM 02/09 Dbl btm 107.84 -1.95 92.30 105.95 21M 32M 143.65
Current.
SVNT 07/12 Asc Bse 26.85 -0.02 27.55 32.95 1M 2M 25.72
Buy Not Hit. Doji move laterally along the late May high as SVNT holds its breath and consolidates along this July top. Has the 10 day EMA as support as well right at its feet and catching its breath for now before resuming the DB hdl move higher again soon.
TISI 07/02 Cup hdl 34.24 -0.28 35.54 42.75 94K 225K 33.45
Buy Not Issued. Started out Monday with a modest move higher but turned over intraday to close back at the 10 day EMA as support. Not too concerned here given the low volume and just waiting to see TISI resume the great moves uphill from late last week on stronger trade to give us the buy.
TMX 07/03 PreAnn 24.04 +0.02 24.58 28.65 1.5M 3M 23.06
Buy Not Hit. Sold a bit Monday but rebounded to hold the 10 day EMA as support. Looking pretty solid here on below average volume and if it can pick up stronger trade and take the Cup base higher we're in.
VAR 06/24 DB hdl 49.34 -0.64 52.77 59.95 952K 1.5M 50.89
Buy Not Issued. Started with a great move uphill but turned over intraday to close at support from the 200 day SMA. Has to hold the line here and watching it closely this week.

Stock Date Play Close +/- Pivot Tgt Vol TgtV Stop
AMT 07/02 HdShldr 39.87 -0.18 39.45 36.12 3.4M 4M 40.66
Buy Not Hit. Sold some more off the 10 day EMA but not much downside action in the session. Really just resting at resistance from the 10 day EMA for now until trade resumes to get this one going downhill with some pace and give us the buy.
ECA 07/12 Put 86.13 +3.18 85.11 77.55 3.3M 4.5M 87.11
Buy Not Hit. Changed the buy point on this very low volume bounce as ECA closed Monday back at 86. Has key resistance from the 18 day EMA and 50 day EMA near 87 where it needs to turn lower.
IJH 07/09 Put 77.75 -0.78 78.18 75.05 651K 850K 79.55
Current. Hit the 10 day EMA as resistance intraday after a short step higher and turned lower from there to post a decent session of downsides. On average trade here and key to see it continue lower past these prior July lows.
MZZ 07/09 Test BO 62.09 +1.21 61.62 69.00 1M 850K 59.84
Current. Rising as the SP400 falls as it inverse play. MZZ in good shape here after a solid bounce off the 10 day EMA for some nice gains and only looking to climb some more as the 400 heads lower. Key resistance here from the prior July closing high however and watching it closely to see it continue uphill.
NAL 06/11 Put 11.73 -0.73 12.42 11.15 1.2M 1M 12.08
Current. Sold through the 10 day EMA and 18 day EMA with ease for some solid downsides Monday. On above average volume here and only looking to head lower. Just watching this one very closely as it held the prior July lows as support at the close Monday.
QID 07/09 Test 20 46.55 +0.73 46.12 51.88 51M 45M 44.65
Current. QID the inverse to the QQQQ as it surged off the 10 day EMA. QQQQ struggling a bit Monday with a midday turnaround so QID looking pretty good and with this high volume QID looks to climb some more this week.
QQQQ 07/09 Put 44.23 -0.33 44.58 42.52 177M 200M 45.72
Buy Not Issued. Sold hard off the 10 day EMA on above average volume through Monday but held support from the prior July lows at the close. Will see how this one bounces off this support and what kind of rebound NASD 100 can give us a bounce off this level and set up another downside move we can play.
XEC 07/12 Put 63.81 +0.53 62.97 58.25 953K 1.4M 63.68
Buy Not Hit. Hit the 10 day EMA as resistance in a doji step higher Monday without much volume. Looking good to turn lower soon off resistance here and ready to jump in when it does. So far a nice, easy test back to resistance through early July after selling hard through the start of the month.
