2. Market Summary
Nasdaq, Nasdaq 100 Continue to Dominate the Upside
Another mixed session with low to high action for the Nasdaq twins, low to not so high action for the rest of the market. Of course, all but the Nasdaq and Nasdaq 100 closed lower. DJ30 was blown up by the Walt Disney Co. (NYSE: DIS) as subscribers fell. Enchanting.

3. Targets Hit
Rapid Profits Stock Trader:
Geron Corporation (NASDAQ: GERN): GERN was a classic Rapid Profits Stock Trader setup. We look for stocks that have trended lower or are trading laterally in a big base. Then, we see the activity pick up followed by a trend break. GERN broke the trend from early 2023 in the third week of April. Then, it faded to test that break, holding at the longer term moving averages on the test. It nudged up off the support, then, on May 1, broke higher again.
That was our entry signal. We issued the entry alert to buy GERN stock as it traded at $2.55 on the ask. Great. The next session GERN fell back to support. Fortunately, it held support and was just a one-day deal. On May 3, GERN bounced sharply, then over the next several sessions marched up to the 10-day exponential moving average (EMA). On Tuesday, May 9, GERN hit our target, and we issued the alert to sell with the stock trading at $2.82 on the bid, a solid 10.5% gain.
Turns out, we left some money on the table as GERN continued higher, tickling the $3 level. That happens. Now, after this trend break, we wait for the next test to set up a new entry. If the setup is good enough, we will look at reloading the play for a repeat performance.
Now is a good time to become a member of Rapid Profits Stock Trader. The system is geared towards bringing you consistent, short-term gains of 5-10% and you can expect four to six trades every month.
